I stood still, staring at Desmond like he had grown a second, and even a third head. From Raine's reaction, she was obviously his mate.
My heart sunk when I remembered him flirting with me back at the meeting in Alpha Theodore's pack. He didn't mind denying his mate just to continue flirting?
"You're mistaken." I whispered, shaking my head. "I'm not..."
