When Davina sent me a mindlink, my heart skipped. It had been ages since I heard her voice in my head. And hearing it now... excited me.
But when she told me she wanted us to do the rejection now, I panicked. I did see that coming sooner or later, but I still panicked so much.
If we reject each other, I wouldn't need to be bonded to her anymore. I wouldn't have to think about her at every waking moment and to wonder how it would feel if she didn't look at me every time like she just wanted to dip her hands inside me and dig out my guts.
