Every word he said made all I had been feeling ten times worse, and I didn't know what to do. Pushing him away was the rational thing to do, but my body didn't give a damn.
"This is risky," I whispered.
"I know." Lucien said like it was the most natural thing to say. "But what is life without risk, Little Rose?"
