Silence passed between us for a while, the howling of the wind blowing in my ears. The air between us seemed charged, I could feel bolts of current zap through my whole body crackled at my fingertips.
His eyes burned into me in a way that made my throat tighten with thirst— not for water. The way his fingers brushed against me slowly, awakened desires I didn't think I would ever feel for him again.
