Davina would be shifting for the first time today, and I just could not get that single fact out of my head. Rowan had complained to me that she had refused to train with him and the other young shifters, and he had tried to convince her, but she refused.
Now I asked Lorraine to check on her, and she came back, telling me that she had already left her room.
I should have ignored her. I said I wanted to punish her, this should be one way.
Letting her shift alone, feel all the pain, the helplessness and hopelessness, and there would be no one there to tell her that it would all be over soon. Being Gideon's daughter, she deserved that right?
