My body would not just let me stay unconscious. Probably because I was surrounded by people who wanted to hurt me. So I woke up not too long after I fainted, only to find myself in an unfamiliar bedroom, tucked under thick bedsheets.
I sprang up immediately, my eyes frantically searching for any sign of danger, for a weapon to defend myself.
"Shh..." A soothing voice came from the direction of the bathroom, and I saw Alpha Theodore walking out.
He had numerous bandages over the places I'd stabbed him, and he looked physically weak. But he was an Alpha with a strong wolf to protect him, so he still managed to be on his feet.
