The next day, Damian took me to a secluded garden, his eyes shining with excitement. We stood beside the garden for a few seconds, staring at the beautiful flowers. You were ignorant of why he brought me here, but the question was, Why am I here? It was strange how he had to bring me here without even saying a word. I was about to confront him about it before he said something.
“I know right now that your mind must have been racing in thoughts of why we are here.” He asked.
“Obviously, I was even about to confront you about it. I'm not even eager about us being here; I'm eager about you coming here without saying a word to me,” I said.
“I'm sorry, but I was feeling the air. You know, the reason I brought you here was to have some good time with you, like, now that you know that you will be the next Luna of the Shadowfangs pack, how do you feel about it?” He asked.
“I doubt that question should be coming from you right now. You know the thing, I don't even know the actual word I should use to describe how I feel with you. If incredible should be the best word, I think I would go with it. I'm so delighted to be with you. I know I might sound a little weird, but you should know that I'm serious right now. Not only that, but I actually love you so much, and you should know that,” I said.
“I have got to believe you ever since , okay. I knew something would come up between the both of us, and that was why I had to approach you at that party. I just want you to be the good person I know I promise never to keep distance from and give you all the support you need. Okay, but you have to promise me that you would do the same for me as well,” Damian said.
“I should even be the one saying that to you right now; you know the thing is that you have made me feel like there is something still left for me. Despite me being an orphan, despite me being just a nobody in that pack, you saw all these problems I had and still went ahead in mating with me, and I promise you that absolutely nothing wrong would come from me. I know I'm not perfect, but if so, I would surely have to make amends immediately,” I said.
"Allison, I want you to be my Luna; I know with your help we could rule this pack together," he said, his voice filled with emotion.
I was taken aback, but my heart soared at the prospect of spending my life with him. My dreams are all coming to pass step by step, and all I shop for isn't to get shattered. I smiled at him. “I'm already yours, okay,” I said.
“I think you should get yourself to the castle from now on, okay?” he said. And left with his guards. I was delighted with his words. From now on, I would be living in a palace like Luna. It's obvious my life has changed for the better.
Damian's parents agreed, and I felt a mix of joy and trepidation as I accepted the role.
As I was at home imagining about how I was going to give orders being the Luna I was picked from the gotta, now I am on top of each other. I heard a heavy knock on my door. I had to leave all the thoughts behind and go check who it was. On reaching the door, I found out that it was Amanda, my friend. “I wasn't expecting you,” I said as I opened the door for her to enter. “Well, I didn't even want to tell you in the first place, so I came here alone just to have some time with you,” Amanda said. “Oh, okay, then come in, so what do you have to say?” I asked.
“What is it with all those smiles you are putting on right now? I mean, the last time I saw those smiles on your face was at the time you met David, and now I think there is another man behind those smiles,” Amanda said.
I looked at her in amusement. “Is it that obvious?” I asked.
“Yes, it is. So tell me what you have to say—who is the man behind those smiles?” She asked.
I couldn't wait to share the news with my friend Amanda. “Well, if you must know, it's the prince,” I said.
I was expecting a surprise, but then she burst into laughter. “Are you being serious right now, or are you just giving me one of those jokes you normally do? Come off okay and tell me the person you are dating now.” She asked.
I was a bit confused and didn't even know the next reply to give her. I knew she might doubt the fact that you and the prince are dating, but she must know that I was saying the truth. “i know that you might be believe what I'm saying but you should know that every word I say to you it's the truth okay but if you wouldn't believe then you can leave it. You might hear the news later,” I said.
“Wow, it's obvious that you are serious with me now; how did it happen? Like, where did you both meet?” She asked, sounding eager to know it all.
“We met at the party, and since then he wouldn't get off me, but that shouldn't be the right question now. The question is that I'm Luna. I've been approved by his parents, and I'm also moving to the palace soon, okay?” I said.
As I prepared to move into the castle, I felt a sense of wonder and anticipation about my new life as the future Luna.
