I was pleased with the lycan's pack and Ryder who was the Lycan king cake to me and questioned me why I was here. I had to tell him the truth about everything that happened.
“Okay I would start from the story of how I was here but you have to believe me” I said my voice low.
“Okay go ahead, I'm listening,” he said.
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness as I gazed out at the castle gardens. I had been living in the castle with Damian for a week now, and every day was a new adventure. As the future Luna, I was learning the ropes and getting to know the pack's dynamics.
“Wakie,” I heard his voice saying to my ear so I could wake up.
“I'm so stressed out right now,” I said, my voice low and tired.
“And that's why you should stand up right now and follow me to the dining table so you can get something to eat, but before you do that, you have to take a proper bath,” he said in a calm voice.
“I know, okay, but I'm stressed right now, but I will follow your orders, okay?” I replied.
“You should be fast in getting ready, okay? This is a family breakfast, and my parents wouldn't tolerate it if you kept them waiting, okay? You should be fast, okay?” he said, pecking me on the cheeks and leaving. Immediately I heard that it was a family dinner, including his parents and his sister. I knew that I was supposed to be there before anyone could. I had to be fast with cleaning myself up and going to Damian so we could go together.
“Wow, you were so fast in cleaning up; what was about the sudden change?” He asked.
“I'm sorry, but you know I would rather not have any sort of argument with anyone in this palace, which is why I have to do everything possible to make everything right, okay?” I replied. “I know that was why I had to involve my parents, okay? You should be careful next time they are still preparing to come down, okay? I know you want to make everything right; that's why I have to help you by using them against you,” he said as he smiled. I put on a frown, knowing that he was only saying all that so I could be at the dining table for everyone.
“Now I know your pretty tricks, and would get you the best time if you tried to use them on me,” I said.
“My tricks could turn out to be real, and if you act nonchalant about it, you might get all the blame. Let's just go and have something immediately, okay?” he said. Damian took my hand, leading me to the grand dining hall for breakfast. “Today's agenda is packed,” he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “We have a meeting with the pack elders, and then I thought we could take a walk in the gardens.”
“Oh, what about the meeting? I mean, if it isn't something I should know, then I don't think you should tell me about it,” I said.
“You are the Luna of this pack, okay, as you deserve to know everything about it. The elders are coming up with doubts about taking in a new Alpha without the death of the first one, but my father, being the Alpha, wants to give up and take a rest. He is old already, and now I'm the new Alpha, whether they like it or not,” he said. “Why should they be making decisions for the moon goddess? She is supposed to be the one deciding when there is a new one, and your father loves you already. That's why you have to take up his place as the Alpha if you should know something. I'm always by your side,” I said, holding him tight.
“Even if you didn't say that to me, I know that you would always be by my side; that's why I love you so much,” he said.
I smiled, feeling my heart flutter at the thought of spending time with him. After breakfast, we attended the meeting, and I was struck by the complexity of pack politics. Damian's parents, the Alpha King and Queen, were wise and fair leaders, and I admired their strength and compassion. They were so good at giving orders and making decisions for the pack, which I admire so much and needed to learn from them.
As the sun began to set, Damian and I took our moonlit walk, strolling hand in hand through the castle gardens. The air was filled with the scent of blooming flowers, and I felt at peace, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the love of my life.
“I know that with all this that you have experienced today, I know that you have learned a lot about being a leader,” he said.
"I'm so happy here, like no day passes by without being so grateful for my stay here at the palace. It's a pleasure to be here," I said, looking up at Damian.
He smiled, his eyes shining with love. “I'm glad, Allison. You're meant to be here, with me.”
“Thank you so much for accepting me. I know that I'm not exactly the one for you, but you looked out of things and still went ahead in making me your Luna. I'm so pleased with you,” I said.
“You should have even known by now that we both are meant to be like, I love you so much, and I know you also have the same love for me, which is why we both have to get together with each other and create something together. Moments from now we would have kids and we both would stay forever together, okay,” he said, assuring me. My life was a blessing with Damian. I knew this might be everlasting and forever. Despite knowing there were more challenges being a Luna and a leader, you still have to stay strong with building my relationship with him.
