Damn It

Azriel's POV: For a moment I felt lost in this, my hand cupping her face, my wolf reacting in excitement. Aiel has never been this excited when he hasn’t gone into hibernation. “I… I…—” “You don't have to be sorry,” I interrupted her before she could complete her statement. I don't know why she kissed me, and I don't care whatever the reason was. I am not supposed to indulge her. We made the reason we got married clear! And I didn't drive all the way from my pack down to Bluemoon for a five-minute kiss! Definitely not from someone like Lyria. All through the ride, I made sure not to look at her even though I was hearing what sounded like moans and the strong scents from her pheromones pulling me in. It was hard, but I eventually did it. I pulled over in the garage of one of the most secretive hotels. It was the hotel I stayed in on my arrival to the wedding I never knew was going to be mine. I opened the car, then arranged the suit jacket to cover her chest properly. Why is her skin damn flawless? Damn it! I quickly snapped out of my thoughts before entering the hotel and heading down to the receptionist, where I paid for the usual room I do lodge in. It was on the last floor, quiet, and helped unwind stress. From that spot, I always saw what the Bluemoon pack looked like and wondered why such a pack has weak men. Weak Gammas. Even for someone like Alpha Xavier. “You can take the room, I would—” “Can you please just stay with me?” She asked innocently, her voice so weak that I could barely hear her clearly. As much as I have to go tend to other things before she heals up, I can't just ignore the fact I saved her from that burning house. What if I didn’t make it there in time? “Okay, wifey,” I nodded before unlocking the door. I let her walk first before joining her. “Are you sure you are not supposed to be in the hospital?” “No one can know this… this… happened to me…—” “I doubt you are okay, I would go get a doctor to come check on you,” I concluded. After she is alright, we will talk about how she got into that burning building… “Can you please not go?” Lyria's voice echoed as she walked slowly up to me while she took off her dress slowly. Thinking about everything that happened in the car and what was happening now, it became clear to me. She was in heat! That was the reason she went to that bastard's house! “I should have known the only difference between you and other w****s was the fact you are lucky to be Alpha Xavier's daughter,” I shoved her aside without caring if she was injured or if she landed on the ground. I walked out of the room, making sure not to look back. Not even the urge and the bulge down my trousers could make me have a rethink of my decision. I brought out my phone, then dialed Beta Katz's number. “Alpha—” “I want you to come with the doctor you brought the last time to come check up on Lyria,” I instructed before he could begin with whatever he has to say. “Make sure no one knows about this except you and the doctor.” “To Alpha—” “Come to the hotel where I stayed a few days ago. Same room!” With that, I ended the call before sliding my phone back into my pocket. ***** “Are you saying you can't feel my wolf? Like my wolf isn't back?” I asked loudly, unable to believe Doctor Smart’s words. Before I could explain the exact way I felt, the way my wolf reacted, the way I almost lost control of myself all thanks to my wolf, Doctor Smart continued. “Alpha Azriel, before the month ends, I should have found a medicine to bring back your wolf.” From the subsequent test and this, your wolf isn't gone entirely. It is in the sleeping phase, all we have to do is produce a medicine that would awaken your wolf,” he explained. “Alpha Azriel, if you have nothing else to discuss, I should be on my way—” “Doctor Smart, I know what I felt. Lyria's pheromones had an impact on me. I felt my wolf. It is a kind of feeling I have never encountered,” I paused, recalling everything. When she was drugged with a heat inducer and in there. I kept losing control of myself. “I am sorry, Alpha Azriel, those might be your feelings, and sometimes, your brain might create a moment where you feel like your wolf is in control of your mind and even your body,” his response left me confused. “I think maybe you should visit a brothel to see if you still have the same experience.” “I think I should be on my way now, I have to be in the lab,” Doctor Smart bowed before leaving me alone to my thoughts. Even though it didn't cross my mind, I think I would give it a go. I would visit the brothel and see if it was the same way as with Lyria or if it was exactly as Doctor Smart said.
