Family First (Part 2)
(Amara’s POV)
I stared at him waiting for him to reply or leave.
I didn’t really care what he did.
I was sick of him.
I was sick of it all.
He finally spoke. “Amara, I was trying to protect you and the boys. I hired a security team and I was trying to deal with the Zara mess the best way I could. I was hoping to have a civil conversation about this.”
I shook my head. “You have always been so blind when it’s come to her. She has done horrible things, and you always protected her, you were always by her side. And now, she tried to hurt your children and yet, your sitting here telling me it was her and not a frown etched across your face. How did you think I would react?”
I waited for him to say something and when he remained silent, I continued.
