(Jay’s POV)
“Explain yourself,” I said, taking a seat in front of Anthony.
I sped over to Anthony’s office as soon as I got off the phone with him. I couldn’t wait to hear what he had to say. I didn’t want to continue the conversation over the phone and I didn’t want my mother or father to overhear what was going to be said. I needed to hear it all first before I could do or say anything.
Anthony adjusted himself behind his mahogany desk and leaned forward. “Jay, you should know that all the information I have about the situation was obtained illegally.”
