Chapter 7:"The Darkness Within"

As I stood there, trying to process what had just happened, I felt a strange sensation building inside me. It was like a darkness was spreading through my veins, a cold and creeping sense of dread.

Luca's eyes seemed to gleam with excitement as he watched me. "You can feel it, can't you?" he said, his voice low and husky. "The darkness within you, stirring to life."

I shook my head, trying to clear the cobwebs. What was happening to me?

Luca took a step closer, his eyes burning with intensity. "You're one of us, Sophia," he said. "A creature of the night. And I'm going to teach you how to embrace your true nature."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as Luca's words washed over me. A creature of the night? What did he mean?

And then, as if in answer to my question, I felt it. A sudden surge of power and strength, a sense of freedom and exhilaration.

I looked down at my hands, and they seemed to be changing. My fingers were lengthening, my nails sharpening into claws.

I felt a scream building in my throat, but Luca's voice cut through the chaos. "Don't be afraid, Sophia," he said. "This is who you are. This is what you were meant to be."

As I stood there, frozen in shock and terror, I felt Luca's arms wrap around me. He pulled me close, his lips whispering against my ear.

"Welcome to the darkness, Sophia," he said. "Welcome to eternity."
