I hate how awkward, silent and tense the cabin is right now but I can't do anything about it.
I won't be the one to start any conversation.
Why? Because I'm scared of Damien shutting it down before I even started.
So I'll just keep acting like the silence isn't affecting me until he's ready to warm up to me.
But what if he never warms up? My inner voice asks.
I sigh deeply at the thought.
Then, I'll just bear with it till it stops snowing, then I can f*****g leave this cabin and be far away from him.
I want to ask him how my car is and if the road is fair but I doubt he'll answer me.
So I just thank him calmly, take my bags from him and carry them into my room to arrange them properly.
