“I wonder why I always get the short end of the stick… I am but a simple business owner.” Albert complained as the wound on his head still hurt ever so slightly even days after he was discharged from the hospital.
“You’ll be alright darling. Do you want me to kiss it and make it feel better?” Amanda spoke to her husband as if she were talking to a child. She planted a gentle kiss on the man’s forehead.
“It does feel a bit better…” Albert smiled and kissed his wife’s lips. “I wonder how the kids are doing, it’s strange they were in such a rush to go back.” He remarked.
“I think so as well… But they are kids after all, they have their own worries to tend to.” Amanda said. “They grow so fast…” She continued as she glanced over at a picture of the two
