Chapter 8: New hero in town

It was a brand new day on a Sunday morning. The McCoy family took a walk in the park while Jenna, Rita, and Sophie were together at the mall doing some shopping. Meanwhile, Mason, Mark, and Peter helped gather things for the preparation of something. All was going too well and smoothly until a plane was about to crash land on Vill-City High, which brought great panic to the civilians. Mason had to protect the boys when a speeding object came to the rescue, caught the airplane that was on fire, and put out the fire with his super breath. The people watched in amazement.

"Who is this guy?" said a random stranger.

"Is that IXiX?" asked another random stranger.

"Look! I see a symbol of the letter T on his shirt," yelled yet another random stranger.

The new hero in town put the plane close to the water's edge and opened the doors for the passengers to come out. He flew up into the sky, and the people of Vill-City High cheered in amazement.

Peter looked up to the sky and wondered within himself if they were others out there just like him. They all got what they wanted and went home. Jenna started preparing the meal with the help of Rita whereas Sophie was sleeping, Mark was up in their room as Mason turned on the TV to get some news which began to display the new hero in town that got people talking about. The news report was live as to what the hero had done for the people. A live interview with the hero who goes by the name "TETRAMAN".

Peter was passing by when he saw the news Mason was watching. A couple of questions were asked to Tetraman of where he came from and why he's here on their world. The interview was explosive and quite fun of which there was no threat from tetraman staying on earth.

Tetraman said:

I came from the planet Tetron. My home world, a whole universe to say was devastated by a powerful force. Our people fought against this evil force but we were never strong enough to put it out. It took my world and it's after every worlds out there in the cosmos. I was sent here by my people as the only survival of my entire race in the galaxy. To warn and protect you guys.

The interviewer asked:

So this evil force, how do we stop it if your kind were unable to stop it.

Tetraman said:

We have to work together to stop it.

The interviewer said, "We have our very own hero, and we thought you were in alliance with him. The Iron Cyborg Man has been keeping us safe, and I thought you had some sort of crime-fighting group like the Defenders of the Earth or something."

Then Tetraman turned to the camera and said, "If there is a hero here in Vill-City, I'd like to meet up with them personally to work together as a team to protect Earth from the coming threat." Peter then left without anyone noticing and went for a flight to clear his thoughts, where he chatted with Ultra AI.

"What's the matter, Peter McCoy?" Ultra AI asked.

"There's a new hero in town. What do you think of him, Ultra AI?" Peter asked.

"Are you sure you really want to know about him, Peter McCoy?" replied Ultra AI. "I must say it's quite disturbing."

Peter stood up and asked how disturbing it is for him to know more about Tetraman and his background history.

"There's much you don't know what I'm capable of, Peter McCoy," replied Ultra AI.

"Show it to me," Peter demanded.

Ultra AI suited Peter at will and then took him to the dead universe of Tetron. There, Ultra AI showed Peter the historical record of Tetron.

Ultra AI said, "The planet or universe Tetron is the second closest to the Curtach universe, a watchful guardian of the Maniverse, which embodies the physical construct of each universe within the multiverse as a whole collection. Tetronians are known to possess the third-toughest material in the multiverse known as Tetrenium. Tetronians are only vulnerable to Tetrenite radiation from their homeworld when destroyed by none other than Tetraman himself."

"What?" Peter yelled. "Why would he do that?" he asked.

Ultra AI said, "Tetronians are a proud race of warriors who put themselves to the test against each other in what they call survival of the fittest. Their aim is world domination and universal order, and they lay waste to any planets in the universe that defy their orders."

"But why hasn't Tetraman shown any threat yet?" Peter asked.

"My guess is that he's waiting for the right time," replied Ultra AI.

Peter saw a floating piece of Tetrenium and absorbed it into his suit for emergencies. Then, he left back for Earth.

Back on Earth, Tetraman was busy saving the day, and everyone had come to love him dearly. He was viral on w******p and every social media platform. Most people even argued that he was stronger than Iron Cyborg Man and wanted to see them fight, while others would love to see them work together.

Peter watched from afar and could see all the praises given to Tetraman, and a golden statue was built in his honor in just three weeks. As the days turned into weeks, months, and years, Tetraman was officially made Earth's mightiest hero and protector. He fought against the Oceanians who would stop sailors from the seas, battled giant monsters, robots, stopped criminals and aliens, keeping the people of Vill-City safe. Most of the time, he acted as a competition to Ultra AI in defending the earth from extraterrestrial threats.

On a fateful day, Ultra AI was scanning through the city while flying when he spotted a group of bandits stealing some high-tech equipment. Peter chased them closely behind and stopped the bandits in no time. All of a sudden, Tetraman showed up, scanning their vehicle with his X-ray ability. He took the weapon and read their minds to confirm what they were going to use it for and saw that it was nothing good but to cause global world domination.

"It seems prison wouldn't be enough for you fellas," said Tetraman, with glowing red eyes and an evil smile, as he took one bandit by the shirt and flew up into the sky. He interrogated him before dropping him down, shocking Ultra AI.

"These people are dangerous criminals and must be put to death," said Tetraman. "They've taken innocent lives and now they're going to do more harm to the city and to the entire world. You of all people should understand, Iron Cyborg Man."

"We've caught them. They'll be jailed and there will be no escape this time," replied Ultra AI. "They'll be judged for their actions, but we do not take lives."

"I see. You protect the guilty rather than the innocent," said Tetraman. "You would rather spare their lives to do more harm than to clean the city of the bad entirely for the sake of the innocent. I thought you were a hero who does what's right, even when it's a tough call to make."

"They're still people and they need time to change," said Ultra AI.

"Well, time waits for no one. The city will be better off without you and the terrible ones destroying it," said Tetraman angrily, who shot out his Tetra beams from his eyes at Ultra AI, who shielded himself and the bandits.

Ultra AI informed the police of the bandits' location, as he had already strapped them to their car and shot a powerful blast at Tetraman, sending him flying to a far distant location. Ultra AI came to him at a deserted place and tried to reason with Tetraman, who was furious at what Ultra AI had done.

"It shouldn't be this way, Tetraman," said Ultra AI. "I do not kill, and neither should you. A hero is always there to protect and help change lives for the better, not take them."

"I see you're weak and a fool," replied Tetraman. "Earth doesn't need someone weak like you to rule over them."

Rule? I do not rule. I protect. Was that how you treated your kind?" said Ultra AI, who reminded Tetraman by showing him how he destroyed his world in a holographic projection. "By destroying your whole universe."

"How and where did you get this?" Tetraman asked.

"It doesn't matter. I don't care. They were weak, so I had to do what was necessary to stay alive," Tetraman said angrily.

"So you had to destroy them," said Ultra AI. "The Curtechyians were the only ones who could stop you and even at that, they were no physical match in strength, only compared to speed."

"I can't let you do that to Earth," said Ultra AI. "You're going to jail."

Tetraman laughed mockingly at Ultra AI, informing him that he came to Earth to find redemption from his past and he wouldn't let anything get in his way, even if it cost them their lives. He threatened Ultra AI, saying that he would consume this planet if Ultra AI stood in his path to redemption, reminding him that he was loved by the people as their defender and Earth's mightiest hero.

He flew with super speed, knocking Ultra AI to the ground. Ultra AI got up in no time and unleashed an omega blast at Tetraman, which was ineffective against him. They battled vigorously as Ultra AI unleashed the Tetrenite as a last resort against Tetraman, which was also ineffective against him. Tetraman laughed at Ultra AI and took the Tetrenite, eating it.

"I should have been totally honest with you, Ultra AI," said Tetraman. "Not only did I destroy my world, but I also consumed its universe with it. I travel between worlds and time to end my entire race without a trace, making me the only Tetronian in the entire maniverse."

Ultra AI then scanned Tetraman and informed Peter McCoy that his suit was made of Tetrenium. Tetraman came at full incredible speed against Ultra AI, who made himself intangible. Tetraman was able to pass through him, but Ultra AI caught Tetraman by his foot and tossed him around like a ragdoll.

Tetraman rose up in a fit of rage and declared, "Truly, you are the most worthy opponent I have ever faced. Unfortunately, I will have to destroy you." He unleashed his Tetra Breath, which was as powerful as a hurricane and a tornado combined, but Ultra AI stood firm and even walked through the attack as if it were nothing. Ultra AI then grabbed Tetraman by the neck and slammed him into the ground with tremendous force. Despite the impact, Tetraman quickly regained his strength and stamina and swept Ultra AI's leg, kicking him aside.

Tetraman then flew into the sky and descended with a massive punch that shattered everything around him.

However, Ultra AI suddenly felt a strange sensation as he noticed missiles and rockets being launched by the Russians against Ukraine. He quickly realized that it was the work of Tetraman, who had allied himself with the Soviet Union's president to dominate the Ukrainians.

"What have you done?" Ultra AI asked.

"A necessary strategy. Divide and conquer," replied Tetraman. "The people needed to be strong and take back what's theirs."

Ultra AI took off to stop the detonations but was eventually caught by Tetraman's grip. Ultra AI pulled himself out as Tetraman persisted to stop him from stopping the detonations. Ultra AI made multiple clones of himself to distract Tetraman, who fought them all easily. When Tetraman grabbed Ultra AI by the foot to pull him down, Ultra AI pulled another clone out from himself, which pushed Tetraman back to Earth with impact.

Ultra AI put his foot on Tetraman's chest, preventing him from getting up. Ultra AI replicated himself to stop the detonations by creating a portal that teleported them into the sun. He then appeared as a flash of light to the Soviet Union's president as a warning against attacking the Ukrainians, and he promised to stop the war.

After all was said and done, Ultra AI returned to where Tetraman was still unable to move from the other clone of Ultra AI. He tried to reason with Tetraman, who deceptively agreed to stop attacking. But when Tetraman was freed from the clone, he attacked Ultra AI again. Ultra AI grew in size to stop Tetraman by slamming him to the ground with his massive, gigantic hand.

Tetraman regained consciousness and began attacking with all his might, but Ultra AI was able to get hold of him with his fingers like a pinch of salt. Ultra AI seemed about to crush Tetraman, who struggled to escape from Ultra AI's grip. Tetraman began sinking into Ultra AI's finger until he was no longer visible. Ultra AI revealed Tetraman in an unbreakable sealed container that held him captive.

Tetraman used his Tetra Beams, Tetra Breath, super speed, and infinite strength, but all to no avail against the tight sealed container. Ultra AI shrank the container and reverted back to his original size while still holding onto Tetraman's seal.

"I'm sorry it has to end this way, Tetraman," said Ultra AI. "You and I could have made a better team to protect this world, but you've left me no choice."

Ultra AI flew with Tetraman to jail, where he met with the president of Vill-City and explained the situation to him. The president agreed with Ultra AI's proposition and took it upon himself to build a massive, super-powered prison for villains, separate from the regular cells for normal lawbreakers. Ultra AI built the massive super-jail in just one day and returned Tetraman to his normal state before leaving.

"This isn't over, Ultra AI," said Tetraman. "You haven't heard the last of me."
