Terri placed the book and DVD on the table before rushing over to check on Cecilia. Cecilia’s body quivered in pain as the adrenaline was finally going down. She didn’t think anything was broken, but she would be bruised for a long time.
"Stupid, stupid, what were you thinking?" Terri fussed over her.
"Thank you," Jonathon said to Lady Gayle.
"You should thank your pet. There aren’t many humans that would have interfered with their masters’ best interests at heart," Lady Gayle said, slightly scolding Jonathon. He nodded. He was surprised by Cecilia's speed and strength, but he knew that people could do amazing things when they were in trouble.
