While all this was happening, David came up and spotted Megan from a distance. Seeing the phone lying on the floor he ran to Megan and kneeled on his knees to reach her height. He opened his blazer and covered Megan with it hugging her tightly. He lightly stroked on his head unknown of the reason that made her cry.
Anyone at a distance seeing the intimacy could say that they were close and not just friends. And that anyone could be anyone.
