Chapter 31:
“Liam…Liam?” hearing the voice he already knew it was Megan .
He could sense the fact that she was just a few steps away from him.
Sweatbeads formed around his forehead. What if Meg heard everything? What if she knew the truth? What if she insists on leaving him?
He suddenly started perspiring profusely and his steps started shaking.
Thinking about all the possibilities possible, he tried to gather enough courage to face the lady at her back.
But he got startled as Meg gives him a back hug and squeezes lightly.
Escaping he turned back and saw her smiling. That very moment he knew she didn’t hear his conversation over phone. Hearing a sigh of relief, he hugged Megan tightly as not to let her go.
Megan smiles softly as her heart melts at his warmth. It was the first day
