Suki felt the hair on the back of her neck wiggle. It wasn’t a feeling of danger … it was the feeling you were being watched from behind by a letch type feeling and she whirled around. Sure enough, Shinbe raised his eyes to hers guiltily.
“What?” Shinbe asked trying to play it safe. “I wasn’t looking at your…” from the look in Suki’s eyes, he needed to figure out what the words ‘playing it safe’ actually meant again. Expecting her to pick something up and throw it at him, he became confused when her eyes widened and her lips parted like… like something was right behind him.
Shinbe cringed as he slowly turned to glance behind him. His face lost all expression as the trees and undergrowth began to rearrange its self, cutting off the path they had just followed. But that wasn’t the bad part
