CHAPTER 4

Alicia said to Ian "Why shouldn't we involve you besides, I've found you a bride"

Ian said with a cold face "I'm not ready for this so-called marriage"

Alicia replied colder "As if you have a say in it. I'm your mother!"

Ian said "But your not me mom"

Albert said calmly "Ian whether you like it or not, you'll get married"

Fritz said "Yeah, or else your grandma would be angry at you"

Ian said "Fine but not now"

Althea and Cara ate joyfully and didn't care about what the guests were saying. Asa's gaze was still on Cara's cute baby face that has no flaw. Cara looked at Asa and smiled again and he looked away shyly.

Roland whispered "Looks like someone is in love"

Asa said blushing "Stop it" and looked at Cara who was looking at someone by her right. She was a painting coming out of a master's piece.Her fair jade skin was shinning like an adorned empress ruling a nation. Her black thick bright dress was radiating but, could not be compared to her black hair that is as dark as night.

She was a queen who was adorned by all!

Althea felt someone's gaze and looked. He looked like a harmless boy that can't harm an ant. Neatly dressed, nice colour of hair and has a cute face. "Surely, Cara has a good taste" she thought.

In an instant, their eyes met, Althea smirked at him and pointed Cara looking at him. Asa blushed hard and looked down while Cara turned to look at the family's picture. Asa looked at the girl and recalled that her name was Althea, and she was actually laughing?

That's not fair! Althea!

Althea gave Asa a thumbs up and said to Cara "Carly, let's go play outside, here's too boring''

Cara's eyes lit up ''Yes let's"

The sisters stood up and Althea gestured "Come'' to Asa and left.

Asa tapped Roland who was eating ''Let us follow them" Roland nodded as and the two followed them.

Alicia said "Ian, I can see that Althea matches you"

Mac snapped "No! That lowlife is unworthy for Ian"

Beryl said "Oh please! If she's unworthy, why does she have her manners. Hon, think of her good sides"

Fritz said "Don't worry, Althea matches Ian and can handle him, well, like what happened before, he smiled at a girl"

Ian said "Because she has a sharp tongue"

Alberta said with a smile "Didn't your colour change abit?"

Ian said "Not an inch"

"In your dreams nephew," Alberta continued "Besides, we are here to fulfill the bethrodal date for Asa and Cara, right?"

Fritz smiled "Yeah, but it's like the children are fine except for Ian"

Alicia pinched Ian's face hard "Go and join them silly child", she continued with a smile "because you will love Althea. You two are a match"

Ian said "No Mom. I won't fall for her. I'm heading outside for some air. Excuse me", he stood up and left.

Alberta said "He will fall for her one day"

Alicia said "I know"

Outside, Althea and Cara were playing carefully because they were still in their dresses. Roland and Asa were not too far away from them.

Asa blushed "She's too cute"

Roland said "Tell her and stop saying it to yourself"

Asa said "I can't even look at her face and you expect me to tell her"

Roland nodded, winked, and did a thumbs up. Asa sighed deeply.

Meanwhile, Althea and Cara played at the fountain, enjoying themselves.

Cara asked "How do I tell Asa that I love him?"

Althea said "Engage him in a talk and gradually divert it to a romantic conversation and then tell him that you love him and wait for his response. But, notice do not get any s****l affair with him or else, you know what I'll do to you"

Cara said shyly "We'll wait until we.get married"

The two saw Asa and Roland at a distance and have them a "COME" gesture.
