The Tribrid and Her Alpha

I go downstairs to get breakfast. My mom and dad are in the kitchen talking about my birthday coming up in a month. I'll be eighteen, and I’ll be able to identify my mate and beloved. I’m what is known as a tribrid, the only one in existence by far. I’m a vampire fairy werewolf, my mom is a pure blood fairy and my dad is a pure blood vampire alpha werewolf hybrid. Meaning everyone on my dad’s side of the family, whether they are a vampire, a werewolf or a hybrid, comes from very old, very long lines of vamps and werewolves, and nothing else is mixed in the bloodline. My mom also comes from a very old and very long line of powerful fairies, so all that passed down to me. Making me the one and only tribrid today and a powerful one, as I have all the strengths of a vampire, fairy, and a werewolf but none of the weaknesses. Meaning silver, wolvesbane/dark light, garlic doesn’t affect me. Garlic used to make me kinda sick when I was younger. I couldn't eat too much of it, but over the years I've built up a tolerance for it. My heart has a shell around it made of bone that protects it, so cutting off my head is really the only way to kill me. Nobody knows about me besides my parents, the Alpha and Luna, and my best friends; Chelsea Snow, Jaraiya Jones, Lisa Summers, Katie Morgan, Tiffany and Taylor Titian. Jaraiya is a siren werewolf hybrid. Sirens are like mermaids, but they have a human form and can live and breathe outside of water. They have water elemental powers, healing powers and some have elemental powers other than water along with a form of compulsion from their singing or humming when they release a phenomenon while doing it. Some may have other powers if they are hybrids. It also depends on what they are mixed with. Jarayia is gorgeous at five foot six with glowing light tan dusky skin, short wavy blonde hair that is partially locked and filled with shells and charms, beautiful light blue eyes, a round face, pointed nose, thin eyebrows, full breasts, curvy hips, and thin lips. She’s always a bit nervous and doesn’t talk much unless she’s with me, Tiffany, Chelsea, Taylor, Katie or Lisa. She has elemental powers, all elements except fire and atomkinesis. She can control thunderstorms, she’s electrokinetic, which causes electric charges within her body with her atomkinesis, she can control lighting and, of course, her siren song.

We all go to Celestial Warrior High school along with about 1,500 other hybrids and single supernaturals from packs/covens or pods (community of sirens) or flutters (community of fairies) all over the kingdom. It’s similar to human schools, but we learn about the history of all supernaturals that live peacefully with us. We also learn how to hone our gifts and what powers are possible from hybrids and single supernaturals. We do learn about the different types of tribrids, but not much, because no one believes there are any or that there will be more, and it's rare when they are born, even when they have two hybrid parents. If they are born, most are deformed and do not make it through the first year of life. It’s sad, but no one knows why it happens. The whole pack will know I’m a tribrid when I find my mate. It will unlock all of my powers. There will be a power shift in the kingdom and I won’t be able to hide the vampire gene in my appearance and I won’t have to hide my scent anymore. I’ve been hiding what I am since I was about ten, not because I’m ashamed or anything like that. It's because my parents asked me too until I was old enough to find my mate and had enough training to protect myself, because people in the kingdom and outside of it will want to use me for my power once they know what I am.
