"I saw her poison Seleira, Alpha!" Seven's angry shout echoed, his finger pointed directly at me, trembling with accusation.
I shook my head, my voice firm yet trembling with desperation. "I didn't do it. I swear, I didn't."
The truth sat heavy in my chest. I was not the one who poisoned Seleira. My conscience was clear, and the Moon Goddess herself could testify to my innocence. Yet Alpha Samuel's piercing gaze ignored my words. He seemed blinded by Seven's accusations, too focused to consider my defense.
