Alpha Centauri is a triple star system located in the southern constellation of Centaurus. Millions of stars surrounded that amazing sight where one heavenly body in particular stood out, that is the yellow dwarf called Alpha Centauri A whose light is seemingly less dim than Alpha Centauri B, that is the orange dwarf shining next to it. Much farther than Alpha Centauri B, it was possible to see Proxima Centauri, that is the red dwarf whose orbit around the two main stars was particularly wide.
