Matthew turned round but he did not show any sign of surprise or fear while observing them.
“Listen to me. I was telling you that we’ve made a mistake in our calculations. We’re not the only human beings on Proxima B!”
Matthew did not even have time to end his sentence. Michael tried to get back to his feet, starting to talk nonsense.
“General, here they are! They are those who attacked me! Let’s go away immediately!”
The General watched the ex-pilot for a while and saw that he had begun to writhe. He could not understand the reason of his reaction anyway.
As Mr. Stateman kept on requesting to leave that place immediately, Matthew tried to calm him down with a hand. “Hey, Michael! Listen!” he shouted. “What the hell is going on? Don’t you know this is their village?” he asked him.
