I stood at the garden admiring the elegant decoration filling out the large space. The engagement party was in rich and elegant décor to celebrate the joyous occasion. The garden area was already filled with close friends and family, where each guest enjoyed the luxurious setting. It was perfected with arranged floral centrepieces that lined the tables.
Our home looked exactly like how I had planned it to be, of course with the help of Veena. A woman I might have slept once with, a long time ago. Layla did not have to know about that.
