“No, I can handle myself.” David said as he walked with the woman to the parking lot below where both of them had parked. Silence befell the two as they walked until the man decided to speak again. “Do you work for him out of your own free will?”
“I do.” Angela gave a short response as she no longer intended to speak with the other.
“A woman with your strength could do much better things for herself.” David said as he looked at the woman’s direction. Their cars were next to each other and both of them walked in the same direction in the huge parking lot.
“Don’t try to flatter me Mr. David. I don’t like things like that.” Angela quickly rejected the man’s silly compliment.
“I was being honest… In fact how about you start working for me instead?”
