2: Help!

It was two in the afternoon and I had just been walking past my old school when a sudden shiver took over me. I stood frozen, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I could feel someone’s staring eyes on me. It had been nine years since this happened last, the same day that mom… Anyways my life has been a living hell since father found his second chance mate last week and somehow she’s already pregnant with twins! I spun around to find my best friend Xavier staring down at me from across the street. He had his katanas with him still from training and seemed to be carrying… roses? It’s probably for another one of those girls at training who have proposed their undying love for him or some s**t like that. But for some reason he was covered in blood and what looked like guts?! Just as I was going to go over to talk to him, a black SUV pulled up in front of me blocking my path.

“Miss Eden Black, please get in your father requests you to come home to meet your new stepbrother,” the smart man in the car with gelled back hair said with a straight face and stern tone.

STEPBROTHER!?

So not only am I going to have to deal with two new siblings but THREE!

Bella growled at the thought.

“Fine,” I said blankly before stepping into the car.

I swear that woman is just using my father, Alpha Aurelius Black of the Spirit walker pack, for money and power.

Then the doors locked and we were off.

I’ve been building up the courage for weeks now, to ask her. I just keep backing down. But, today is the day, it’s now or never. I sprinted down from training to the Main Street shops, where I knew I could find her as her old school is there and she seemed to have some strange connection to the place. I ran for miles before spotting her standing frozen staring up at the school with tears in her eyes. I gazed at her from across the street for what felt like ages. Suddenly a feint whiff of meat and blood filled my nose. I followed it, believing it to be a feral, and found a girl being followed by an old ugly looking wolf. I immediately sprung into action, taking control of the situation and slicing the beast into pieces with my katanas before leaving without a sound. I snuck back to my previous position watching Eden fully aware that i was covered in blood and guts. When she turned around and spotted me all I could do was blush and grip onto the bouquet of lilies that I had picked for her. She looked like she was about cross the road to come and see me, when a black SUV pulled up in front of her, stopping her in her tracks. I had a bad feeling about this, and when she got in my suspicions were proved correct, The back of the car seemed to fill up with smoke and I saw her collapse in the back seat.
