My phone vibrating woke me up the next morning. While I didn’t feel as awful as I should, I still didn’t feel great. I grabbed my phone. “Hello.” I said groggily. “Morning sunshine.” Vanessa’s voice said on the other side. “Morning,” “Come to your front door,” “Why, what’s there?” I asked. “You’ll see.” She sang. I rolled out of bed and stumbled down the stairs. The house was now spotless. The maids had done an incredible job. I still felt guilty for how messy the house had been last night. I opened the front door and saw Vanessa standing there with gold sunglasses and McDonalds in her hands. “Hungry?” She asked, grinning. “God yes!” I exclaimed. We sat down on my living room couch and turned on the TV. “Last night was insane!” She laughed before throwing fries into her mouth.
