1712 Words
Wails of agony filled the silver pool. The pain was beyond what he could bare. It was so hot that he felt as though he were in the sun where the heat was beyond diamond to hold. Was hell really bearable? If the rumored tales were to be true, who would dare stand its rath? On the red altar, Lison sat cross-legged as he went through the first rebirth. His skin was melting off as though it were ice under the great sun rays. This was a pain that was nowhere in the world for one to bear. For Lison to have accepted such rebirth, he needed power, he needed a chance to revenge, and most of all, he needed to have a sight of a balanced world. Well, what were the nine rebirths to begin with? The nine rebirths were the seven praised stages of rebuilding one's martial body. The martial body was comprised of the body itself, the meridians, the tissues and tendons, the blood, the mental essence, the organs, and lastly the organs. It was known to everyone that going in for the nine rebirths was but a real path of death. it was a path where survival was but a limited condition when one was walking such a path. The suffering of pain that one had to bear was beyond what many could behold. For White to be brave enough to take up the three legends' legacy of nine rebirths was but a real deal. The first, second, and third rebirths concentrated on the body. The first rebirth prevailed over the flesh. Humans were frail beings among all the creations under the heaven. It was best for one to describe them as weaklings among the life creations. They were born very weak and their intelligence was the worst among the heavenly creations, but the heavens were indeed considerate of their frail nature. Although they were the weakest of the creations, they were still the only beings whose wisdom was the highest. They had a chance of awakening their understanding at an early stage allowing them to gain a chance to hold the touch of wisdom. It was for this factor that they trudged hard for a chance to have a stand under the heavens thus their cunning nature. They were creatures who never at once looked at how long their benefits would last. They would go ahead to bite a hand that was feeding them and for this, most creatures hated associating with them. They were the true sayings of green snakes in green grass. With their knowledge, they went ahead to make proper research on the various ways to make them worthy of the world. It was for this reason that more research was taken by the human ancestors to elevate their poor stay as minor slaves or weaklings to the current lords whose words were but power. They had to undergo extreme pressure on such a path of cultivation that was never a part of the human race. Simply put, the path of cultivation that the humans had to take was never a praised path that the heavens granted the human race. For fear of the special gift of wisdom that the heavens had entrusted the humans, they dared not let them take the path of cultivation for they could ought to seek what was beyond their caliber of the scoop. It was for this sole reason that cultivators had to face the heavenly tribulation on various stages to keep the immortals at bay. They had to pay a heavy price for their decision of taking the immortality path. This was the sole reason as to why Lison had it tough with his rebirth. For all the nine rebirths to come to completion, one had to have his whole self rebuilt. It was through the replacement of cells in an electric vehicle. With the old ones dumped, they had to make a new pair to replace the old one. The current Lison is the real description of such. His body was well built and worthy while but his muscles, talent, and spiritual roots were far more dormant than the dormant volcanoes. For his complete rebirth, he had to face the strong burning flames with a strong will to live and fight. Although his will was firm, enduring the nine rebirths for a mere mortal was but the real dream one would not any once dare dream. Sitting on the red altar, Lison's whole body was melting at a terrible speed. His heart was turning slower than slower in beating. His breathing was huggurred for anyone to offer his assistance. The flames were cremating him alive with great speed. Wasn't it said human flesh was but a working of the sculpture Supreme God? Is it not said that from clay, he molded the human flesh? But what was the reason for the melting of his body? Although white was no longer wailing as before, it was not him getting used to the pain, the pain of the nine rebirths was a complete one way ticket to the gates of death. Taking such a path to walk the immortal path was the best reason for one to be marked as insane in the whole world. Even the royals who held the best resources to replenish their energy would never hold such for a dream yet White was taking such a test. His best description was succide for the current world. Days began to tik one after the other, he was on the altar, not daring to stray off. This was his only chance to shine, although he knew of the world nine rebirths, they were leagues apart with the Icefone nine rebiths that he is taking. With the royalty of the Icefone Phoenix, it held the most supreme nine rebirths that no other could compare. In the blink of an eye, it had turned twenty nine days as he remained on the altar. His lower body was but complete bones. All his flesh was gone, not a single drop of blood could be seen or say sweat that was leaving his melting body. His face was beyond the paled description. He was no longer the well built youth but an aged hundred year mortal. If not for his golden hair and the facial features, one would think he had been swapped for an old fella. White's body continued to melt, this being the twenty first day, he still held a few days to complete the first rebirth. One whose aim was to cleanse the participant's flesh. With the cleansing from the nine rebirths, it was easy for one to hold a steady physic like that of dragons. For a person as frail as White, this would grant him a footing in such a cruel world. With such physic, why would he dare fight for a footing, even if he were to stand in a singler place and let his enemy rain him with spells, he would still remain in place. That was the sole reason dragons were said to be true kings for many attacks were like ticklish behavior to them. 21.. 22.. 23.. 24.. 25.. On the 26th day, White was but a red skeleton his whole body was no more and this was his first news, it was great news for him, but he no longer had the energy to continue forward. He was only a mortal to begin with, going on for all those days without food was but a miracle. *** He has passed the first rebirth, and he should head to the second rebirth. The Icefone said in a soft and calm voice. She was not rush in her words or slow them in any way. But he is only a mortal to boot. His energy reserve is too low to begin with only by consecutive eating will his body gain the chance to make energy to sustain his frail body. You talk too much. Black dragons are said to be great lords of the dragons but look at your self, all you carry is your huge empty head. Are you forgetting that he is still our lord? Are you calling me dump then? You should know the reason as to why we were defeated then? Taking till here, the old man was ready to stop the argument of the two but their words held his hands tight. When will I get used to such words, it was the nine wheels of fate that refused to... He was never in place for such, although he got the chance to awaken, becoming one of the best of the human race then, he was still too weak to accomplish his shouldered tasks... I think he has the chance to accomplish the trials but if he will succeed in this rough path is to only him and his companions. *** Outside Slentin city, on the slopes of the Frost mountains, many youths aligned and were eager to accomplish their roles. Dressed in black gowns, their facial features held behind beastial masks of various beasts in dependency to their groups. Their auras were terrifying. They were not human auras but those of blood thirsty beasts whose senses had taken a whiff of blood. Before them was a young youth. His back facing the others, although he held four people by his side, the were a few feet behind him expressing his leads. His black hair swayed in the cool winds that flattered his robes. It was worthy saying that the wind was kissing his black robes that held a single gold thread stroke on his shoulders this showing off his status. He was the praised grand disciple of the Mindless cult leader. For a person his age, to catch the sight of the praised blood thirsty leader was no joke. They were the ones in charge of flattening Slentin city. They are here to fulfill the cult's need. For the previous times, the cult needed to sacrifice to the Gost emperor in the deep frost mountains. In order to elevate him to great heights, they planned to have him offer this sacrifice to the great emperor. Let us begin the summorning ritual for the ghosts to awake.
