A random senior girl stands up and said: 

“That’s all guys. As you can see some unexpected things happened today and it’s also late night. We will continue tomorrow. Thank you for your cooperation.” 

People started to leave one by one while Sophia was standing there and was looking at the guy who was sitting on the floor. 

Sophia’s friend holds Sophia's arm, drag her and said: 

“Come on! Let's go everyone is leaving.” 

Everyone left the restaurant. There were empty bottles of cocktails and alcohol, the pieces of glass were on the floor and he was sitting on the corner of the hall in the darkness. Emilia and mark were on their way to the hospital. Emilia was thinking about the guy who save her life. 

“What the hell is wrong with me? Why I am with mark right now I should go back and say thanks to the guy but who knows he might already leave.” 

“Hey, Emilia what are you thinking and why are you sitting here alone. Thank God you’re safe. Mark is also alright now if you want to rest sometime you can go home I and mark will leave once mark’s bandage will get done.” Maria was standing and patting Emilia on her head she means to comfort her. While Emilia was thinking all about the scene and the guy. Emilia stands up and she looks at Maria and she smiles and said: 

“Thank you, Maria, for comforting me. I will go back to home now. Please say thanks to Mark from me and send my best regards to your parents.” 

“I will, be careful on your way.” 

Sophia opens the door and gets inside the house. Her mom was sitting on the couch cutting the apples and was making the salad for dinner. Her dad was lying on the floor watching TV and was drunk. 

“Sophia, you’re home? I mean what happened you haven't come to home this early in a while? Where's Emilia? Is everything okay?” 

Sophia looks at her mom angrily she smacks her purse on the table, sits on the chair and head down. Her father gets up turns around to look Sophia but he was too drunk that he couldn’t see anything. Everything was blur.” 

“HEY! WHY ARE YOU MAKING NOISE? Let me watch the TV at least. You brat!” 

Her mom was standing looking at Sophia curiously. 

Sophia stands up there were tears in her eyes. She shouts and said: 

“What? What? You're drunk again? Why are you saying this to me? You are drunk again? Are you in your senses?! Do you remember my name? Do you even know who am I? Look at us! Have a look on me, your wife, this house! LOOK! You've ruined everything. YOU’VE RUINED OUR LIFES!! What have you done for me? Look and think back six to five years. Have you done a single thing for me? A single thing? Think about it and tell me?” Sophia goes towards her father grabs him with his collar and was shouting at her father. Her mom goes towards Sophia and tries to hold Sophia from her back but Sophia was shouting like crazy. Her father was looking downwards he was drunk and was not in his senses. Sophia pushes her mother from the back and let his father go. She grabs her purse kicks the door with her foot and walks away. The apples were all on the floor and the room was a mess. 

Sophia was crying and walking angrily: 

“Why? Why me? I hate you dad! I hate you all! Just like I was the apple of your eye, you were also the balm to my soul, I miss you. I can leave myself to rot in past. Spend my time hating people for what happened, like my mother did, or I can forgive or forget. We all have a choice. All of us.” 

Sophia was sitting on the chair and was drinking soju. She drinks the whole bottle and she was feeling dizzy. While Emilia was on her way to home. She keeps thinking about the guy who saved her life. 

“Who was that guy, I never saw him in our university. Is he a fresher here? Oh, he smells just like him. At least I should have said thank you to him. Is he still there, I should go and check. Maybe he left? Who knows? Never mind I'll just go and check then I will go home.” 

Sophia runs backward to the restaurant to say thank you to the guy who saved her life. She was standing outside the restaurant and there was a light inside the hall besides all the hall was covered in dark. She said: 

“Hey, is someone inside? I think I dropped my bag here? Hello?” 

Emilia pushes the door lightly. The door was open and the sound of creaky door made. 

The guy was crouching in the dark corner of the hall. Emilia suddenly saw him and glared at him. Emilia gets close to him and crouch next to him. She was looking at him. The guy was shaking as if he was scared. 

Emilia loots at him and said: 

“Hey, I'm Emilia it’s okay I’m not a ghost you can stop shaking now.” 

The guy did not respond, he was crying. 

“Hey, are you okay?” 

Emilia grabs his elbow and pats him on his back said: 

“It’s okay, what happened?” 

The guy stop crying, he looked up. Emilia was smiling at him. 

“Why this girl is patting and smiling at me? Today I saved someone’s life why I'm feeling so good. I'm a murderer I killed my own family, my past is horrible. But today I saved someone’s life. Why? How can I? Why do I feel like I have to save this girl and push that man without even thinking a second?” 

The guy was looking at Emilia and Emilia was smiling at him. Suddenly the guy pushes Emilia, he grabs her neck and shouts: 

“why?who? Who are you? You also come here to tease me, right? Right? Tell me? Tell me who are you? 

Emilia was choking. The guy realizes that he is hurting her. He let go and stand up and said: 

“I'm sorry, I was just thinking... I'm sorry. You may go now.” 

Emilia was coughing. Emilia stands up, she saw the blood was dropping on the floor and the blood was coming from the guy’s shirt. 

“Hey... he... hey? Are you hurt? Is this blood? Are you okay?” 

Emilia immediately stands up. She saw the blood was flowing through his shirt. She ripped of the shirt and saw that there was a big piece of glass in his stomach. The guy could barely stand. His eyes were started getting close and suddenly he falls down and he faints.
