“Don’t you really know what time it is? Seriously?” Sophia asked frustratedly.
“I? Was I with you last night? Right?”
Sophia laughed and said:

Emilia got confused, she looked at her aunt and asked:
“Aunt? Tell me? How did I get home last night?”
Her aunt politely said:
“Girl, if you are feeling well and better you can go to university. Maria was calling you so I picked up the phone and was wondering who this person was calling you so much, but she said that you have an important class today and the math professor also came today...”
Emilia quickly gets up and rushes to the bathroom.
Sophia murmured:
“Poor soul.”
“What? Did you say something?” said her aunt.
“Huh? No, nothing! Anyways, I'm going to university.”
Emilia quickly went outside of the bathroom and said:
“Sophia, just two minutes wait for me. Let me get my books.”
“Huh? You think I will go with you? With? With you? Bahahaha...”
Sophia started laughing.
Her mom and Emilia were looking at her laughing crazily.
Aunt got angry at Sophia and said:
“So? Why are you laughing like that? What's wrong with going with her to university? You both go to the same university. It's better that you both go together and also stop laughing like this and behave yourself!”
Sophia stopped laughing and said:
“Mom! I'm not going with her! Look at her, she’s dressed up all simple. If I stand a Beggar next to her and look at both of them, it won’t make any difference! Sorry but yeah she looks like a Beggar.”

Aunt Lily got mad and she was coming towards Sophia to slap her on her face, but Emilia ran and held her aunt’s hand to stop her slapping Sophia.
“Aunt! Sophia, I will not go with you, okay? You can go alone! And if you don’t want to tell anyone about our relationship with each other that we are sisters at university, as you wish, I'll try my best so that no one finds out about our relationship with each other. Okay?” Emilia said in a lower voice to Sophia.
Her aunt steps backwards and sits on the sofa:
“Oh god!”
Sophia had tears in her eyes and she looked at her mom and said:
“You were about to slap me because of this poor soul?”
“Control your tongue, Sophia! I am warning you last time. If you say this again, I will forget that you are my daughter,” said aunt.
Sophia shouts:
“You will forget or have you already forgotten that I am your daughter? I don’t want to waste my time here. I'm going to university. Bye!”
Sophia picks up her bag, slams the door and leaves.
Emilia looked up and got her bag and said:
“I'm leaving. Don't mind her, you know she’s always like this.”
“Yeah, you go, otherwise you’ll be late,” said her aunt.
“Bye...”
“Bye...”
Emilia wore her shoes, opened the door and left.
Her aunt was staring at the door:
“She already left? Did she forget to give me a kiss on my forehead today? She always does this before she leaves. Maybe she had forgotten or maybe because she was upset because of Sophia? I should give her some space after all she has grown up.”
Emilia was sitting at the bus station waiting for her bus to arrive.
(Phone ringing)

Emilia looked at her phone screen.
(Maria calling)

“Hello? Are you there? Are you listening? Emilia? You there? Answer me?”
Emilia sighs.

Emilia cuts the call. There was an old lady who was sitting next to Emilia.
Emilia asked an old lady:
“Hey? Do you know when the next bus will arrive?

Maria was sitting in the third row. She pokes a mark and mummed:
“Why is Emilia not here yet? I am not feeling any good vibes from this scary professor. I'm sure if she comes now, she’ll be punished by him. Please text her right now and tell her not to come. It’s better to mark absent then coming right now.”
“It’s too late now, look at the back...,” said mark.
Maria looked at her back. There was Emilia coming into the class...
“Oh my gosh! Carefully you dumb girl!”
“Why are you so late?” Maria asked.
Emilia said:
“I missed the bus.”
“It’s okay, we’ll talk after class”, Mark said.
The professor was writing something on the board with a marker. He turned around, slammed the book on the table, cleared his throat and said:
“ If you guys don’t know, let me tell you. I have been teaching for 25 years and it’s not very easy to make me fool candidates!”
The professor pointed his marker to Emilia and asked in a higher voice:
“Why are you late?”
Emilia looked around:
“Is he referring to me?”
Mark said in a lowered voice:
“I think so...”
Maria looked down and said:
“Oh s**t! I have seen this coming.”
professor shouts:
“can’t you hear me? I asked something!”
Emilia trembled, she stood up and said:
“I am sorry sir. I- I missed the bus, that’s why...”
Emilia was going to continue but the professor interrupted in the middle and he said:
“Don’t give me useless excuses. It's none of my business. Today is my first class, that’s why I'm letting you go. Go sit in the back and try your best so this does not happen again.”
