Chapter 7 - Elynnor

Great News! The GICM has just scored a few (TOP 5!!!) hits on the West German Top 40! Our covers of hit songs were both “mainstream” and “classical” enough to be put on the list, I guess. Haha. “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” by The Beatles scored 4th place, “We Are The Champions” by QUEEN scored 2nd and “Here Comes the Sun” scored 1st! I feel we’re the next best thing in West Germany now. My group and I have won enough attention from enough audiences to have applications to join our orchestra flooding in like a tsunami. We grew from 11 members to 50 in just a few months! Our albums recorded at a small company are also selling like hot cakes! Most of them are West Germans, but there are a small percentage of international talents as well.

We didn’t, and never needed Mrs. Hubert and the HOH musicians from the very beginning after all. I hate to say this, but it’s Mrs. Hubert’s loss, I guess. I still wish to help her but I guess you can’t really help those who are not ready (or not open) to receive your help. Deep down, I still wish to help her. My heart is still open to her. But I’m not going to hold my breath. People like Mrs. Hubert aren’t really fond of changing their minds once they’ve made it up. So I am just going to keep prospering with my friends (and new members) and just hope nothing gets in my way.

All the best to BOTH my and Mrs. Hubert’s orchestras, though. In such a competitive line of business, we’re going to need it!
