Chapter Twenty-FourOnce Charles and Josh left the office, Pete pondered where Rick might take Andy and the children when they arrived at the laboratory. One thing was certain; Rick wouldn't do anything here in his office. The laboratory technicians were only a few yards away, so someone could come in at any moment.
If he was planning to use the missing sample of flesh to kill them, then he will have chosen a place where no one would hear their screams of agony. And wherever such a place might be, it would also have to contain something where the remains could be hidden without fear of them being found. But where would that be?
