PERSEFONE POV My bedroom door had been locked for almost two hours. Not because anybody in my family would walk in without knocking. Okay.. Penny definitely would. But it was mostly because my life had officially turned into a psychological horror movie and I needed at least one physical barrier between me and the rest of humanity before I lost my mind completely.
