The King's Sorceress

Chapter 6

Daemon's POV

I don't like this. I feel restless. It has been 2 hours and she still hasn't woke up. The council has mentioned the existence or sorceresses before but I was under the impression that their blood line had died out. I had kissed her to see if that would trigger her to recognize me as her mate and it worked. 

"I don't understand " Amethyst moans still unconscious. She must be dreaming. I bend down kissing her cheek and running my fingers through her long beautiful hair.

I whisper in her ear, " I love you my precious mate. You'll never be alone again. I shall always be by your side". I position her head onto my lap and tug the blanket higher covering her shoulders. Waiting for my sleeping beauty to reawaken.

Amethyst's POP 

I sit up on the grass. How did I get in this garden. Its so beautiful. Red roses as far as the eyes can see. As I stand up I notice  that I am dressed in a long flowing silver dress with long sleeves that hook to my middle finger. This dress feels and looks ethereal. As I walk I touch one of the roses and right before my eyes I watch as the life drains from the flower petals then falls from the stem. How is this happening ? I keep walking slowly, thinking,  grazing my finger tips over every rose blossom then watching them die and fall before my eyes.

I loose sight of how long I have been wandering. Then I see her..... The Moon Goddess .... She appears before me just like the last time I dreamed of her. 

'Amethyst my child. You need to wake up. Your Mate is very sad without you.' She speaks her voice just as angelic as I remembered .

"Goddess what's wrong with me? What am I? Why couldn't I recognize my own mate"

'Daemon and you are special souls I have brought together. You my daughter are the last of your kind. You are an old blood line that is close to my own. That is why I can appear before you and guide you. My most beloved daughter,  Daemon is very special I knew he would be able to protect you, cherish you, and keep you from being alone.'

"I don't  understand" I cry  falling to my knees on the ground.

She smiles walks over to me 'All will be answered soon, just keep protecting the children of Adam I do not wish to see them fall to oblivion.' 

" I don't know where to start" I tell  her. 

She just continues smiling and says 'You will find the way just follow your heart. You will always have my love. Listen closely..... It's time to awaken '

She vanishes as quickly as she came. I sat on my knees still in the garden when I hear." I love you my precious mate. You'll never be alone again. I shall always be by your side". Daemon I hear him talking. I stand up and start running through the garden and everything starts fading to black.

I struggle to open my heavy eyes.  My back is burning again. I wince in pain snapping my eyes open. Daemon is looking down at me with those amazing deep blue eyes. I feel a blanket covering my body and it feels as if I'm laying on his lap. I look around a living room, assumedly his. It is an exquisite condo with Victorian gothic décor. 

" Your awake. I was getting very worried" He says relief flooding across his face.

"Why am I laying in your lap?" I ask

" My beast and I feel at ease when you are at my side" He says running his fingers through my hair and tucking a few strands behind my ear. I sit up. My body hurts all over like I have been working out at the gym for a week straight without rest. Suddenly I remember my back. 

" Can I use the restroom" I ask him.

" Of coarse, the doors there" He points to the left.

" Thank you" I say. I walk into the bathroom and shut the door. I look in the mirror. I begin to unbutton my blouse and drop it off my shoulders, to my elbows ,exposing my back. Turning around I look in the mirror.

I yelp and say " Not again"

"Are you ok Amethyst" I don't answer him I just keep looking at the addition to my mark. It's now glowing silver like my dress in my dream was. Almost as if pulsating.

"Amethyst...." Daemon opens the door. I see his eyes grow darker and it dawns on me I am standing here with only my lace black bra covering my chest.  I gulp and blush pulling my shirt back up on my shoulders quickly and pinching the front closed to cover my breasts.  He walks towards me backing me against the sink. I gasp... Feeling myself heat up between my thighs under his hungry gaze. He wraps his arms around me, taking a deep breath, breathing in my scent.

" Daemon " I look up at him. The blue is coming back to his eyes and his breathing is slowing. 

" I am sorry Amethyst. I know you've  had a lot to process today, and aren't ready. I just had to regain control of myself" He says still holding me. 

Finally he lets go then steps back a little. " May I see? I have full control" He finally says.

I turn around my back to him. I let my arms fall to my sides. He walks up behind me, grabs the shoulders of my shirt, then gently pulls it off my shoulders. I feel his finger brush against my neck as he sweeps my hair over the front of my shoulder exposing my back bare to him. A soft moan escapes my lips.

"Shh ... My beauty. I am barely holding onto my control by a thread as it is"

 He stares for a long moment. brushes his fingers against my mark then bends forward kissing it.  I moan again and this time he spins me around taking my *ss into both hands and picking me up against chest, smashing his lips onto mine. 

My body responds and our kiss deepens. He walks over to the couch and sits down with me straddling him never breaking the kiss. I feel his hardness pressing against me, my pants the only thing between us. I grind my hips against him. Daemon moans as he bites my lip then breaks the kiss.

" I'm sorry again Amethyst. My beast wants to seal the bond so badly my self control keeps slipping"

" How do you seal the bond?" I ask him laying my head against his chest. Trying to focus on something else and calm my proactive thoughts.

" Well.... for us because we are hybrid mates its a  blood sharing convergence along with the traditional marking" He responds holding me tight. 

"So I'm a hybrid like you ?"

He chuckles " No your a Sorceress." 

"A Sorceress? How do you know that" 

" The council has told me of them before and my beast recognized it. Apparently back when The Moon Goddess created the first Lycans, Sorceresses were often the mates of the strongest Alphas .  That's why he told me how to activate your senses to the mate bond. Hence why I kissed you. How ever I did not expect you to tap into your power without training and try to kill Elle. "

I turn and glare at him burning again with jealously .

" It was a joke Amethyst I just wanted to see if you could access your power and I new the easiest way was for you to get mad. She means nothing to me I just mind linked Nick and told him to tell her to say that" He says with a smirk. "Your strong, our bond would be strong, thankfully you were able to regain your control. The tell tail sign of a sorceress is her mark of Devine favor from the Goddess herself."

" So.... the marking that showed up in the middle of my back?" I asked still laying against his chest. For some reason being like this with him makes me feel so at ease.

" Precisely " Daemon nods.

" I need to go back to my condo. I need to figure out what these vamps are doing with the people. " I ask/tell him. 

" Amethyst..... I know this is all sorta new to you but I really would rather you stay by my side. I can have anything you need brought to my place. Please ....stay here with me. Plus it will be easier for your new  job " he says winking. 

" Well..... The Goddess already told me to trust you so I guess I can't doubt her. " I said facetiously. But the truth is everything inside me is screaming I need to be close to this man. I can't even find the willpower to leave. I have always trusted my instincts so I guess this time will be no different. 

" Good then it's settled. I shall have my pack members take care of anything my beautiful mate needs" He said smiling. His eyes filled with happiness and love. I can feel emotions pouring out of him into my heart of love and compassion.  Its melting  my heart , a heart that I feared would really never know how to love.
