Chapter 10

Amethyst POV

I feel so bad for Nick. He has been sitting in that chair in the corner for hours. 

" Ah I think I got it "

" Luna ? " Nick says.

" I figured it out Nick, When will Daemon be back ?" I ask.

"He should be here in a few more minutes. He mind linked me that he was out of the meeting. Never mind he's here now." He says .

 Then walks over and opens the door for Daemon. Daemon walks in with a couple bags and sets them on his desk. 

" Please say that's food !" 

" Absolutely , I figured you were hungry " he smiles.  " Nick here is your lunch. Your free to do what ever. "

" Thank you "Nick says grabbing a bag of food then walking out. Daemon walks over and secures the room, then turns and looks at me with lust filled eyes. He stalks over to me sitting at my desk with my feet up on the table reclining in my chair. 

" What do you think you are doing " He says in a husky growl.

" What do you mean?" I ask. Then he takes his fingers tracing up my leg from my ankle up to my thighs where my skirt hem is. 

" You should not sit like this around other people, they could see what's mine"

" Daemon , Nick doesn't even look over at me , and I was excited and relaxing since I was able to get a lot of information" I say to him pulling my legs off the table and pressing my thighs together to distract myself from wanting him.

  Daemon gets on his knees in front of me then pushes my knees apart hiking up my skirt. I can't stop it, a moan escapes my lips. He runs his thumb across the outside of my panties, and a feel myself tremble at his touch. Every time he touches me it ignites a fire all over my body. He pulled my panties to the side and slides one finger in me. I writhe in the chair moaning his name. 

" That's right baby. Your mate wants you to C***. " He whispers in his seductive husky ,smooth as silk deep voice.  Its just enough to push me over the edge and I feel myself come apart in his hand.

 " Good girl" He says fixing my panties. 

Just then his phone starts ringing. He growls and stand up and sits at his desk.  I fix my skirt and readjust myself in my chair, and scoot over to his desk after calming myself down. 

" It will be done " He says then hangs up the phone. Then looks over at me.

" Let's eat and you can fill me in" He smiles. How does he do that just turn it off and on when he needs to focus. 

" Who was that?" I ask him 

" Council, I have another target "

" Can I come" 

" No, I don't want you around these low life's Amethyst"

" Daemon, I'm not going to be a woman who sits at home knitting , worrying about her man. You either take me with you or a will sneak out and follow"

He growls and runs his fingers through his hair " Will you ever do what I ask or listen"

" Perhaps, but not at this moment in time." I smirk with a victorious grin. 

" Just fill me in on what you found out and eat. You are  too much if you don't I am going to bend you over  my desk and make it so you won't be able to walk, let alone try to follow me" he says with a cocky smile.

" Moscow.... We need to go to Moscow. When I back tracked everything, it was done from Moscow. I looked further into things and found out that the Russians are holding a press conference there solidifying and agreement with the United States. I want to watch what happens and see if the Vampire have been mind controlling government officials like I thought. " I  say in between bites of food.  

" Ok... " Daemon says.

" What .... Your agreeing with me ?"

" Yeah.. I would rather you stay away from it, however I know you never will so might as well facilitate it where I know I can keep you safe. In addition, I have  orders from the council to handle a situation in Moscow, and you were asking to tag along. Plus I have some pack members in both secret services for the Russian prime minister and the President of the U.S. " 

"Ok Daemon, Its a date" I say winking , " Can you let your pack members to watch every single contact? "

" Yeah I just mind linked Nick to have him set up the travel arrangements. We will leave tonight after the Luna Ceremony .Which  we need to go home and get ready for. "

I throw my container in the trash and walk over to Daemon and sit on his lap. " Let's do this"

We get to the pack house Daemon' brother Nick walks me too a back room. 

" Amethyst " Bella jumps on me.

" What are you doing here.... How did you know"  I ask her 

" Daemon Invited me, are you kidding me you think I wouldn't be here. Oh and guess what Ame. Nick is my mate ! He is so sweet and kind and loving. "

" Slow down dear. When did you find him?"

"Yesterday.. Daemon Sent Nick my phone number and we felt the pull as soon as we spoke to eachother so we met up.. and ... " She pulls down her dress showing me her  mark on her neckthat looks similar to mine " Well you know what happens " She laughs.

" Aww Bella I am so happy you are happy. I have missed you so much "

" I have missed you too Ame.. But any way, enough of this. Nick said we had to squeeze this ceremony in because of the moon cycle after you guys mated and you have somewhere to be"

" Yeah, but it works out because you know me. I don't really like big extravagant things"

" True, I got you a dress" Bella turns around and pulls a dress out. 

Its a long silver dress with a slit up the side. 

" Its beautiful Bella, thank you so much. "

"Eh, no big deal. you and I before the guys were the only family each other had. I will always love you and be here for you " 

Bella's words make me want to cry. I wrap her up in a hug. 

" No crying Amethyst we don't have enough time to start from scratch with your makeup and hair"

" Sh*t your right"

Bella pulls out a makeup bag and touches up my make up. Then we both pull my hair up into a twisted bun and put a hair decoration on the crown of  my head that is silver beads with a moon on it. It fits  I slide my dress on with some silver heels. I check in the mirror. I look like a princess. 

"  Amethyst you look so pretty" 

" Thank you Bella Do you think I will be a good Luna and make Daemon proud?"

" Absolutely , you have always had a kind heart and are the most selfless person I have ever met Amethyst"

" Your the best. Ok lets go I think I am ready to be a Luna"

Daemon POV

I was standing under the full moon in the garden surrounded by all the senior pack members. Then I see at the end of the garden.. My Amethyst. She looks like  the Moon Goddess walking in the moonlight. 

I am guessing the other pack member must think so too because I hear gasps coming from all of there mouths.  Isabella skips up to Nick kissing his cheek. I am happy my brother found his mate and I have mine. My most perfect Luna. 

I can feel Amethysts nervousness .

' Calm down baby, your going to be amazing' I link her.

She smiles at me , a smile that reaches those beautiful violet eyes. As she keeps walking with confidence.  She takes my hand and the elder walks forward. 

" Alpha Daemon do you promise to take care of your Luna. Respect her. Cherish her. Support her. and protect her?"

" In this life and the next " I say.

"  Amethyst. Do you promise to be a faithful Luna, protect the pack, keep the Alpha strong, support him, be fair, kind , and just"

" I do " She says in her musical voice.  Just then the moon gets brighter as if the Moon Goddess is shining her spotlight on Amethyst.  Everyone.... even the Elders jaw hits the floor. I just smile . I always knew the Goddess lover her and she  is special. I will love her forever.

" All packs present I give you the Luna Queen Amethyst and Alpha King Daemon"

The night fills with cheers and howls alike.

We have been sitting here eating dinner for a bit. I can feel Amethyst is starting to get tired. 

'You ready to go baby our flight will be soon '

' Yeah I am not used to being the center of attention like this'

I chuckle and stand up " Thank you everyone for welcoming your Luna  alas we must depart. Our duties keep us very  busy"

" Alpha. Luna " everyone says as I take her hand and we head out to the car.

" I had our bag packed and put in the car while we were at the ceremony"

" Thank you Daemon. This was really amazing "

" Anything for you my love. Anything at all "

She smiles and lays her head back on the seat looking out the window, staring at the moon as we drive to the airport.
