Chapter 16

Amethyst POV

Fluttering my eyes open I wake up and smile at Daemon who is also awake. 

" Good morning Love " I say. 

Kissing my forehead " Good morning beautiful, you ready to go to work ?"

" Yeah, I need to get with those Omega's today" 

"True" 

I climb out of bed still a little sore from the amazing love making all Saturday night and Sunday. I may have to tease him more often. When we got home from the club on Saturday Daemon went crazed on me. I smile to myself.

" What are you thinking about?" He asks with an evil smirk.

" You know damn good and well I am thinking about your retaliation for my behavior Saturday. I am sore."

" Well it's your fault. I was just a man of my word . I told you if you kept it up I would make sure you couldn't walk.  I have self control but you don't fight fair. At the end of the day I am still a man. "

Well I guess I can't argue with his logic. I slowly walk to the bathroom and turn on the shower. Leaning against the wall I let the warm water cascade down my body washing away the sore. I feel Daemons finger tips as he wraps his arms around me getting in as well. Groaning I lay my head back against his chest enjoying the close. He grabs the scrub and washes my body while simultaneously messaging the sore away. I return the favor. 

After our shower we both get dressed. Daemon is wearing a custom Armani suit and I decide to wear a black pencil stripe suit with heeled boots. 

We eat a little breakfast that is already made in the kitchen that one of the pack Omega's made and left for us. After breakfast we make our way down to the garage to go to Cain Tech. I drive mycar today as Daemon is fixing an employee issue on the phone and on his tablet.  Isabelle and Nick are both parking and getting out as we arrive. 

" Here Ame. I grabbed you a cappuccino" Bella says handing me my favorite as Nick and Daemon wander off talking about some business things. 

" I am so excited your here with us Bella" I tell her.

She smiles so full of warmth, "Me too Ame everything is so wonderful now I have Nick and you. My family is complete."

We walk into the building talking amongst ourselves laughing about the guys. We situated Bella near Nick, and all get settled into work . 

It's been a busy day between Daemon's meetings and putting the finishing touches on the micro trackers for the Omega's to go under cover. I didn't realize how fast the day has gone when Nick and Isabelle walked in with lunch for Daemon and I. 

" Lunch time already" I say.

" Yeah Daemon said to bring it in here, that he was on his way back to the office. " Nick states. 

" Thank you both. You can put it on his desk and then go have your lunch." I reply absent mindedly and they both walkout of our office. 

With in a few moments Daemon walks into the office and shuts the door. I spin around in my chair and smile at him. 

" You know this sight of my beautiful mate sitting in our office just always makes my day" he says smiling.

" When are the Omega's supposed to get here my love?" I ask him.

" At 2 "

" Perfect, I just put the finishing touches on  the trackers."

" Ok. Nick knows to bring them in when they get here. They were explained a little what their task will be ,but I will defer further explanations to you when they are here. "

" That works. How did the meetings go?"

" Good. Although after lunch we have a brief video meeting with all of the Alpha's under us to have them monitor their perspective zones to keep the vampires from using mind control on people and how to counteract it once it happens. "

"I will be ready. Did all the witches you sent that are specialized in breaking vampire controls make it to all the territories? "

" Yes, that's why I chose to have this meeting now to make sure all of our pawns are in place before we attempt to break this"

"Daemon you always think of everything" I smile at him. I am so lucky to have such an amazing mate. 

"Well, I am not the Alpha King for nothing , just as you are the Luna Queen hand picked by the Goddess for me and our world" He retorts giving an evil grin. 

" Yes and your so humble and filled with humility" I mumble under my breath. Which I am sure he heard because I hear him chuckle as he takes another bite of his food. 

We sit there in silence for the rest of our lunch talking about mundane things. I have all of my supplise set up for when the pack ladies get here to insert the chips. 

Daemon clears his throat and says

"You ready? It is time"

" Yes Mr. Alpha" I say sarcastically.

" My Queen what happened last time you teased me? " 

I gulp remembering how I barely could walk half of the weekend after the shenanigans at the club.  He chuckles then walks over to me wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing me. I love the tingles all over my body when he touches me.

 I groan," Come on my King or we will be late"

" Very well my Queen ,let us be on our way. " 

As he opens the door taking my hand and we walk down the hall. We get into a large conference room that has a huge monitor on the wall. Nick and Isabelle are already sitting at the table and well as  Gamma Wyatt.

" Good afternoon Alpha and Luna " Wyatt says standing and bowing. 

Daemon and I both acknowledge him and nod our heads sitting at our  location at the head of the table. Selene Shuts the door and I hear it lock secured. The monitor lights up with a multitude of different Alphas and their perspective teams on the screen. 

Daemon stands up and begins, " Good day to you all I am sorry for the short notice about this meeting and for doing it by these means alas I am unable to visit at this time to make these announcements in person. As you all have been made aware the Vampire have been using some mind control techniques on certain government officials around the world to insight fear and chaos world wide. Luna Amethyst and I have been tracking these and rectifying them as we can but how ever we need to focus some attentions here. "

" Alpha King Daemon, what is the reasoning for the witches being sent to all of our regions" an Alpha by the name of Atreus says.  I recognize him from some of our meetings as the Alpha of the  West region of the United States. 

" I was getting to that Atreus " Daemon says with a slight irritation is his voice for the interruption. " As I was saying the witches are all trained in spell craft to undo any mind control tactics that the vampires have set in place when you all can sense their aura."

" Are you saying we need to keep eyes on all of these meetings of state to watch for vampire interference?"  Alpha Axel says. 

" Yes. Unfortunately they have been spreading our and getting into all of our territories and it has become necessary for me to involve all of your assistance. "

" But this is YOUR job as Alpha King. We already have enough to deal with in our regions." Alpha Atreus says slightly passive aggressive. 

" ARE YOU QUESTIONING AN ORDER FROM YOU KING!" Daemon says in his Alpha ton laced with disdain for the arguing. I see his eyes darken and glow slightly red. 

Everyone in the monitor and in the room excluding me wince from his tone. I stand up out of my chair walk to Daemon without breaking eye contact of all the Alpha's on the screen and sit in Daemon's lap, placing my hand on his chest to calm his beast. He grabs my waist inhaling my sent and I feel his aggression go down. 

" No Alpha !" Everyone says.

" Good. I suspect you will do as requested until you hear further instruction from myself or your Queen." Daemon states still using his Alpha command.

" Yes Alpha and Luna "

I clear my throat and stand up, leaning forward on the table and staring down at all these Alpha's in the screen . I Speak using my command " Understand this, your Alpha King is extremely benevolent and kind, but do not take that as license for ANY OF YOU to disrespect him. DO. I. MAKE. MYSELF. CLEAR "

Again everyone unanimously submits and winces, " Yes Luna Queen Amethyst!"

As I sit back in Daemon's lap he rubs my back and then says " You are all dismissed. If there are any other issues or need any additional resources please contact Beta Nick "

" Yes Alpha "

Then one by one they start disconnecting until only Alpha Atreus is left live.

" Alpha and Luna, I want to apologize for my behavior it's just been a lot I should have showed more respect. "

Daemon looks at his with no emotion but speaks calmly " I understand that but you need to trust my decisions. We are always attempting to do things for the best of our race. "

" I understand Alpha and again I apologize. Thank you Alpha, Luna " and he disconnects.

Nick sighs " Well that was fun "

"Nick " Daemon growls. 

" I know , I know . Your not in the mood.  We will excuse ourselves Alpha....... Luna..." Nick bows in respect and steps out . Wyatt follows suit. 

Once the door is shut Daemon pulls my tight against his chest. 

" Do you know how undeniably sexy it is when you use your Luna Queen command. Even I wanted to submit"  Daemon winks. 

" I don't like using it unless I have too same as you but,  you always do so much for all of them whether they know it or not. I was over the disrespect" 

" Well either way it's sexy and hell. Your command is the strongest Luna command I have ever  seen because of your sorceress strength and connection with the goddess. " As he kisses the middle of my back where my mark of favor is placed, sending spark all over my body. 

" Come Alpha King let us go back to our office and ready for our next meeting " I say seductively as I trace my finger down his chest. 

" Mmm yes my most beautiful Queen" and Daemon places the sweetest most passionate kiss on my lips.

We stand and leave the conference room,  heading back to our office to get ready to meet with the Omega's . 

" Beta Nick" I say opening the door.

"  Luna  I brought Rebecca" He says motioning to a blonde woman with green eyes." Kathleen " A red haired woman slightly taller with bright blue eyes, "and Bastet " He says pointing to the last woman with chocolate brown hair with eyes to match.  I bring them into the seating area of our office before shutting the door and securing the room. 

Then Daemon and I walk back to our seats.  Rebecca, Kathleen and Bastet are still sitting in the chairs  . 

I introduce Daemon to Kathleen, Rebecca, and Bastet.  All three of them stare at him opened mouthed. The ladies look down knowing I had caught them ogling my man as I felt my eyes flash red.  I hear Daemon smirk . 

'Don't even ' I tell him through mind link. 

" Let's get this done " Say motioning the ladies to follow me to my desk. Daemon and Nick begin talking about plans as I imbed the chips in each of their arms explaining the process of how I will be monitoring them to ensure their safety and track the vampires layer. I clear my throat. 

" Daemon, it has been done."

" Thank you my Queen " 

 Daemon says in his alpha voice " Ok ladies, thank you so much for helping the pack. Each of you know where your zones are to go hang out alone to get abducted?"

"Yes Alpha " All three say at the same time.

" Nick ,wait with our fighting force assemble and be listening for a mind link from me " 

I can't help but smile. He's pretty hot as he uses his alpha commands. Daemon see's me checking him out and he winks. I blush and walk to the door opening it for them to leave.

Back at home, Daemon and I have been sitting in my office  for a bit watching the Omegas'  movements in the city. Then on the screen I see Kathleen's marking fast. Then shortly after Bastet and Rebecca's.  Where are they headed. I watch for ten minutes the all three stop at the Trinity church again.

  "Daemon found them, your going to love this" I say.

He walks over to my kissing my cheek  " Hmm. Shall we go to church baby " He says.

" I thought you'd never ask" I smile as we walk to the bedroom to get dressed and armed.
