Amethyst's POV I stared at Daemon, disbelief written all over my face. "Say that again," I demanded, my voice barely containing my anger. "The main house has been bugged," he confessed, a look of reluctance clouding his eyes. "How on earth is that even possible?" I shot back, clenching my teeth. "How could someone plant so many devices and backups without us noticing? There should have been multiple failures in our defenses!" With a determined look, Daemon pulled out his phone and dialed. "Nick, I need you to dig deep," he instructed, his tone serious. "Run a full report on every housekeeping staff member, any maintenance crews, anyone who hasn’t been part of the pack but has shown up in the last few months. And I want Isabella to cross-reference that list with known council associates.
