Aria didn’t tell Kael that morning. After Morwen returned upstairs, Aria made her way back into the lower chamber. She eased the shawl from her shoulders and set it aside. Then she settled onto the bedroll beside him, pressing her cheek against his chest as she had done every night during their eight-day journey south. He shifted. A moment later, he woke.
