Chapter two

Betty Pov:

I opened the door and stumbled inside l fell on the floor. Mia rush to myside.

' Betty! Are you okay ' she paused observing me. she shake her head.

' Wrong question! ' She said shut the door and help me up. l had a shower and came out.

' l am so sorry Betty is was all my fault ' Mia said almost crying.

' No don't blame yourself! ' l paused

'This was the highest insult of my life ' l said and explained everything that happened.

' I am so sorry ' Mia said.

' l most get back at them ' l said looking so furiously.

' What do you plan on doing to them ' Mia asked staring closerly at me.

' I don't know yet but in due time l would figure out something ' l said firmly.

' It fine! l am sorry once again ' mia apologized. l forced a smile.

' it okay! let sleep ' l said and lay on my bed facing the ceiling as she lay beside me.

Luca POV:

l stared at Betty empty seat l felt so guilty.

' poor thing! she feels so embarrassed to even attend class ' Molly said smiling.

' Next time she won't ever think of messing with the wrong girl ' Vivian said. l just shaked my head. Feeling so bad. The door swing open reviewing Betty who smiled brightly.

' Hii everyone ' She said and cat-walk to her seat like nothing happened. she sat down.

' ohh wow! The ugly queen made it to school ' Stacy a girl at the front roll said.

' Yeah! she made it! I know right? some people wish she stay home crying her eyes off but that not happening sweetheart ' Betty said boldly. l smile staring at her. She looks so confident today.

' Someone seems confident today ' Tom said

Betty smiled turning to face Tom.

' Yeah! just sit down already, You are polluting the air! it stinks now ' Betty said closing her nose.

' Did you brush your teeth this morning ' Betty asked.

' Are you indirectly saying my mouth stinks ' Tom asked looking furious.

' You just said said so! ' Betty said and the whole class laughed. Tom blow air into his palm and inhaled it. we all laughed. l also couldn't help but laugh.

' Guys stop it! it not funny ' Tom said.

' Enough ' Liam yelled and stood up facing Betty.

' l see you get some wings, but watch out l am gonna cut it ' Liam said. Betty smiled and stood up folding her arms against each other.

' I will wait for that time to f*****g come! until then ' Betty said and sat down. A lecturer entered. Liam sat down eyes burning with anger.

The lecture commence.

Betty Pov:

I sat alone in the library reading a book when Luca entered and shut the door. My eyes were still focused on my Book. He sat beside me.

' l am sorry about what l did yesterday, l did you wrong and l am sorry ' He apologize but l didn't respond l just focused on my book.

' You not gonna say anything ' He asked. But l still didn't respond. He snatch the book. l finally stared at him.

' Give it back ' l said staring coldly at him.

' I said l am sorry! ' He apologized again and my heart soften. But l wasn't ready to forgive him just yet.

' Why! do you do what you do and apologize in secret ' l asked.

' l don't have a choice Betty l....' He paused. And stare at the door.

' Leave through the back door ' He said.

' what!! why ' l asked staring at him.

' Just do as l say! ' He said and l pack up and left through the back door. l hide beside one of the classes. l saw Liam and the others entering the library.

' Did he just save me from getting bullied! what is going on ' l murmured to myself and quickly left.

Classes was over and l rush to my Hostel to avoid those bully but l just kept thinking about what transpired in the library earlier today.

l got to my hostel and met Mia eating pizza.

l smiled and throw my bag aside l rush to get a bite.

' Naughty girl ' mia said and l smiled and l took one. she hit my hand.

' Your hands are dirty young lady ' Mia said and l rolled my eyes and quickly went to wash my hand. and raised them up.

' Are there clean enough ' l asked dramatically and she smiled.

' Yeah! ' she said and l took a bite.

' Yummy-yummy ' l said filling my mouth.

' Easy girl ' she said and pass me a napkin.

l cleaned my mouth.

' mia, Hmm can l ask you a question ' l asked.

' Yeah! sure what is it ' mia asked stopping to face me.

' it about Luca ' l said starring at her.

' what about him ' She asked. And l narrated everything that happened earlier to her.

' l always knew this guy likes you ' mia said.

' But why does he hurt me and end up apologizing in secret ' l said with a serious tune.

' That l can tell, But we must find out! ' Mia said.

' But how! ' l asked. And she smiled and whisper the plan into my ears l giggled feeling so excited to execute the plans.

Written POV :

A new student entered the class along side a lecturer.

' Hello everyone, l am Caleb ' Caleb said smiling.

' You are welcome Caleb! we hope you enjoy your new class ' Mr Tyler said. Caleb nodded and walk straight to my seat.

' Hii can l sit ' Caleb asked. Betty smiled.

' Sure please sit ' Betty said and Caleb smiled and sat on the empty seat beside her.

Luca clench his fist staring coldly at Caleb. As both Caleb and Betty were getting to know each

other.

Classes were over and Betty went to the restroom Luca followed suit. He pinned her to the wall his hands possessive on her.

' Why were you smiling at him ' Luca asked angrily. Betty tried to free herself from his grip but his grip was too strong.

' I have every right to speak to whoever l wish to speak to, And guess what l think he is more handsome' Betty said

Luca stood frozen for a moment, his Blue eyes wide with shock—and something far more heated. his mind struggling to process what Betty had just said.

Then, with a growl, he *yanked* her back against him, his grip unrelenting.

"Don't you *dare* say that to my face," he hissed, his voice rough.

And before Betty could protest, he crashed his lips against her—harder, pouring every ounce of anger, frustration, his longing, his need into the kiss. Betty didn't resist instead she responded to the kiss. Luca slowly pulled away. Not leaving her.

' I hate it when you laugh or even speak with him ' Luca said sincerely, As he rest his forehead against her's. As they both try to catch their breath.
