Elves, Violet had quickly learned, are firm believers in collectivism.
There are no eight-hour workdays within the elven community. Every job is split into four hour shifts with a high average hourly pay and each individual works only four days a week, giving everyone good work life balance. Within this small group, they have state of the art healing facilities, housing powered by solar panels that are strategically placed atop the surrounding trees like ornaments, a rainwater collection system as well as a monopoly over the nearby clearwater freshwater streams, and community gardens that anyone within the community can pick from.
