639 Words
The council hall burned with torchlight, shadows dancing across the stone walls. The Alpha sat at the head of the chamber, his aura heavy with dominance. His eyes blazed with fury, the trial's humiliationstill fresh. "She is nothing," he growled, voice echoing through the chamber. "An omega cannot be Luna. The bond is a curse. It will be severed." The triplets stood before him, silent, their wolves restless. Ragnar growled low. Veyra whispered sharply, Kaelithar whined in protest. The Alpha's glare cut into them. "You will obey. You will brak her. Do not forget your place." But none of them spoke. Their silence was defiance enough. In the shadows of the hall, Serena, Vivienne and Celeste whispered together, their voices dripping with venom. Serena's eyes flashed. "She humiliated us, She will not take them from us." Vivienne's lips cruled. "If the bond crowns her, she will eclipse us. We must strike first." Celeste's voice trembled, desperate. "If she belongs to them, He will never see me again. I cannot lose him." Their hatred sharpened into desperation. They would steal, corrupt or destroy whatever bound Aria to the triplets. Later in their chambers, the brothers argued bitterly. Damon slammed his fist against the wall. "Ragnar bows to her. My wolf demands her. But she is nothing. I will not accept it." Kieran paced, eyes cold. "Veyra whispers her name. If she is Flameborn, then everything changes, But i will not bow to fate." Lucien sat quietly, Kaelithar pressed against him. "I mocked her, but when she cried, my wolf ached. Perhaps i ache too. Perhaps i always have." Their voices rose. overlapping, sharp and bitter. "She is ours." "She is nothing." "She is Flameborn." The bond pressed harder. weaving tighter. defying their denial. Meanwhile, Aria sat alone by the river, clutching the chram Nyra had given her. The whispers of the pack still echoed in her ears, dangerous, chosen, cursed. Her wolf shimmered faintly glowing in her veins. Selene's voice in her head brushed her soul. "You are Flameborn. You are heir. The Accord will rise." But Aria's heart ached. She was alone, hunted. and the Alpha's wrath pressed against her like a storm. Nyrra appeared again, quiet as moonlight. She sat beside Aria, her wolf shimmering faintly "You are not alone," Nyra whispered. "The Alpha fears you because he knows what you are. Flameborn. Chosen. Some will stand against you, but others will rise beside you. The Accord is not yet broken." Aria's eyes burned with tears. "But the pack hates me. The triplets despise me. How can i rise?" Nyra pressed her hand over Aria's. "Because truth matters. And because destiny cannot be severed . When the time comes, you will not stand alone." She pressed a small rune-stone into Aria's palm, etched with silver markings. "This belonged to the Echoborn archives. It remembers Flameborn blood. Keep it close. That night, shadows stirred in the bond-space. Aria's wolf shimmered, silver-marked threads glowing. Suddenly a dark presence pessed against her-the Alpha's shadow, vast and cruel clawing at the threads. "You will not rise," the shadow hissed. "You will be broken." Her wolf trembled, but Selene's voice thundered "Stand tall, Flameborn. Protect the bond." Ragnar, Veyra and Kaelithar surged into the bond-space snarling, their wolves pressing against hers. For the first time, they fought beside her, not against her. Together, they drove the shadow back, silver fire blazing. And the Alpha's fury echoed, but the threads held. The Alpha stormed through the hall, vowing to sever the bond. The girlfriends plotted vengeance, desperate to reclaim their crowns. The triplets wrestled with their wolves, torn between denial and devotion. Aria sat by the river, silver fire glowing faintly. Nyra's words echoing in her heart Selene's voice thunder "The Alpha's wrath rises. Shadows gather. But truth burns brighter, The Accord will rise.
