All The Way

"No, Grandma. The best way to defeat someone is with violence and pain," Gray expresses, making a turn with a lot of force. I have to hold on to my seat to keep from flying off, "Wait until you hear what I'm going to tell you. You'll like what I have planned." I doubt it, because defeat, violence and pain sound like something I'm not going to be good at, but I'd rather stay quiet until Gray parks in front of Candy Lane. It's a giant place with pink walls. "We haven't even walked in and I already feel better. Thanks for bringing me here," I mumble happily and get out of Grayson's horrible car. Candy Lane is the biggest sweet shop in ever, they have all kinds of sweet things, from candy to frapuchinos to cakes. As soon as we are seated, a very animated waitress serves us and we place our orders, but Grayson refuses to tell us his plan until we are eating. While I wait for what I ordered, I walk over to the candy section and buy some popsicles, because the ones I got from that nice cab driver are all gone. I'm not proud of that. "Okay, gentlemen, time to talk business," Grayson begins, after taking a long swig of his large caramel frappé with extra whipped cream and colored sprinkles. I don’t like that he called me a gentleman, "Ever since the first day Redboxinggloves insulted Midnight, I've been watching all the Beast Maker people very carefully. I've created a list of possible attackers, take a look at it." Gray sets a piece of paper down on the table and then turns to all sides as if someone is watching us. I take it first, approaching Baxter on the couch so he can read as well. Zeke is the first person on the list, I don't know him so I have no opinion. Matthew is second, he's my favorite BM seaweed, I've never seen him fight, but his workouts make me sweat even though the weather is getting colder and colder. He's very nice to me, I don't think it's possible that he's the one saying those things about me. Then there's Henry. Mmm, possible... he's a very quiet man, plus he always has his cell phone out and could be taking pictures at all times. The next name leaves me wondering. "Theresa?" I ask out loud. Lion's number two girlfriend is loud and not very bright, but she doesn't seem to hate me. On the contrary in fact, she's always trying to be around me and get a chat out of me although she's not very successful at that because I never know what to say back. Justin takes another swig from his glass and nods very precisely. "She's suspicious, yeah. I don't like all the attention she's been giving you, she doesn't inspire confidence in me. Big t**s or not, I'll destroy her if I have to." "Erik isn't capable of something like that," Baxter says, reading the next name and shrugs "Besides, he doesn't even like Jake and whoever this person is, he's a fan of his." "Exactly. Which brings us to the next name," Grayson continues, raising his eyebrows and pointing to the list, "Jake Sanders. My opponent... don't you think it's a great coincidence that I'm the only hated fighter on the page and he's the one you support the most?" "It's possible," I agree, nodding and moving the paddle in my mouth from side to side as I think, "In fact, he's the only one I'm suspicious of." The next names are Leila and Alexander. I don't know either of those. "Why isn't Gemma here? "I ask, licking the paddle slowly. Baxter snorts and Grayson just shakes his head, laughing, "She's mean to me." Not really. "She's a wee bit jealous, but trust me, Gemma wouldn't do something like that. Besides her cell phone camera is useless. I know because the other day I tried to take a video of.... of something, and I noticed this. Oh, and Gemma's not that interested in anything," he adds, shrugging. And I narrow my eyes, but internally accept that it's not very likely and that I'm only thinking about her because of this envy I have for her. It would be nice to destroy her. Maybe I can convince Grayson that she is Redboxinggloves. Framing someone can't be that hard. Gemma and Regina are rude in a subtle way, but they have never done anything bad to me, they even wave and smile at me if we ever cross glances. That doesn't change the fact that they are not my favorite women, even though they are both beautiful and I want to be like them so badly. "So what's the famous plan?" asks Baxter awkwardly because he's eating a donut. His beard gets stained with sugar and I, being the good friend that I am, reach out to wipe it off, earning a smile from him. "Stop flirting for a moment," Grayson complains, rolling his eyes and starting to tap the table with his finger repeatedly, "The plan is this... Midnight will be our spy. She’ll go to each of the aforementioned men and try to get information out of them while I do the same with Leila and Theresa." "Sounds to me like he just made up this stupid plan" Baxter scoffs and I nod my head because it's true. It doesn't sound like he's done much planning besides writing these names down. "That sounds good, Gray. You know I like at least two of the men mentioned, but you forget that I can't function around anyone but you or Bax. It's been proven several times," I mutter, not too proud of this. People are right to call me weird, because that's exactly the way I act when someone comes to talk to me. "Yes, I have a plan for that too... but I'll tell you later when we're alone. I'm 100% sure it will be effective." "I didn't even want to hear it anyway," Bax points out, giving us a dirty look, but Gray just gives him a smile and continues sipping his frapuchino, "Why can't I know?" "It's private, Bax. Something between me and her. Mid will decide later if she wants to tell you or not, but it's not my place. I'm just going to propose my good idea,” he says, with a slightly evil grin on his face that doesn't give me a very good feeling.
