The rest of the afternoon goes by quickly, everyone having fun, myself included. As soon as I accepted the fact that I was just another one of his conquests, and that I’ll get dumped quickly, I stopped worrying. It might not feel the same when he actually does it, but at least I am mentally prepared for the fall down. If he wants to use me for fun, I’ll use him for fun as well. Because I have to admit, he is fun.
“We should do a last attraction before going home,” Jordan says, putting an arm around my shoulder.
“What about the haunted manor,” Alex replies, trying to sound spooky with his mimic, making us laugh.
“That sounds fun,” I answer between two laughs. Especially since everything that was supposedly scary, ended up very fun with this strange group of friends.
