“Oi!” I call out to her, hoping she’ll hear me through the wall of stone. “I need you!” I can almost imagine her laughing bitterly. She knows she can’t get out without the dark magic escaping. But that’s what I’m counting on. “Don’t be scared, we’ll be able to release that demon energy!” I shout. “But I need you now, my mother is dying. Come out, help me!” A low rumble makes me perk up.
