  The food sat between them, steam curling lazily into the air, but Wesley barely touched his plate.   Riana noticed.   She always noticed when he stopped eating. It had been a habit during their marriage whenever his emotions ran too deep, his appetite vanished. She focused on her own meal instead, hoping the clink of cutlery might drown out the tension stretching between them. And plus, she was really hungry.
