Chapter Eight - The Storm Starts

(Jake’s Point Of View)

We were all excited to find out that Kale’s wolf can now communicate with him and Garry’s wolf, as well that Garry and Kale have now completed their mate bond. Because of that, Kale can now become an official pack member. Tom’s dad would need to be the one to do the welcoming ritual or ceremony since Tom isn’t the Alpha just yet. Everyone was excited for this welcoming ceremony, and Kale’s family as well as their mates if they had found them, were invited of course.

We were all busy these past few days prepping and setting up for this event, we want it to be perfect in Kale’s eyes and to his liking due to his Autism. We didn’t want anything going wrong nor any changes to be made at any point once something was set. So far Kale has approved the plans that we discussed and drew up with him, and even let him see the progress so nothing was a shock to him. He loves it so far, and we are all thankful that it’s to his liking and want it to continue that way.

I was with Kale going through what food and drinks he would like for the after party to celebrate him joining the pack after the welcoming ceremony was done. While he was looking at lists of food and drink items I started to feel Jasper start to behave the way he does when that one person he absolutely hates is around; Nicole. I look around and caught her scent before I caught her eyes on me, she looked.. I don’t even know how to describe that look she has honestly.

I really didn’t like the way she just starred at me, she was looking at me the way only Tom was supposed to. I really regret ever dating her now, because she was always insane but this is just a whole new level if you ask me. She started to walk towards and when she saw Kale, she growled and bared her canines at him, causing him to shiver and whine before hiding behind me, his soon to be Second Alpha so he knew he was safe with me.

I growled and bared my own canines at her which caused Nicole to be in total shock by my actions before she took a step back. “Why are you protecting an Omega Jake?!” Jasper and I both really didn’t like the tone that she was using on us, she was trying to control us when she was a normal ranked wolf. She had no rank at all, she had no power in this pack, and I was her soon to be Second Alpha! “I’m protecting a soon to be pack member, a friend and Garry’s mate!”

I can tell that my words shocked her, but my tone did even more. Ever since I completed my mate bond with Tom I have noticed that I immediately got a Alpha tone and I wasn’t even given my title yet. Apparently with Alpha’s mates, they get their new tones after the mate bond is completed if they haven’t gotten their Luna or Second Alpha title yet.

“You can’t be serious.. An Omega is Garry’s mate?! And why is your tone different?? It doesn’t sound like a Beta one anymore..” I could see her eyes filled with anger but also some fear at my new tone. “I am very serious about Garry’s mate. So what if he’s an Omega? Here in this pack we treat every single pack member equally, especially the Omegas” My words were shocking her and making her angry.

“Also, my tone is different because I found and completed the mate bond with my mate!” Nicole’s eyes now showed hurt, real hurt as if she has just lost what is hers before getting really p***ed off. “NO! You CAN NOT be Tom’s mate! You are mine Jake, MINE!” Before she could do anything I smelled my mate’s scent fill my nose, Jasper wags his tail happily in the back of my head as we smelt our mate approach.

“Nicole! What are you trying to accomplish here?” Tom was using his Alpha voice, which made Nicole shake in fear, you should never look an Alpha in the eye unless you are his family, a close friend of his or his mate. The reason is because Alpha’s wolves find this as a challenge, basically they will want to fight or make the person, that isn’t who I already mentioned that can safety look an Alpha in the eye, submit to them. And guess what? Nicole was not even a distant friend of his, and due to that the second she had dared to glare at him, looking him in the eye, Toby saw this as a challenge.

I saw that Toby took control and was growling at Nicole, his Alpha aura just filling the air as he was making her submit to him. She tried to fight it but it took not even 5 seconds before she was on her knees, looking down and whimpering as she bared her neck in submission towards him. Toby gave Tom back control and he was glaring at Nicole, he ordered two Warriors to take her to the pack cells in order for her to think clearly before he sees her again in a few days. It honestly turned me on to see my mate being all dominant and Alpha like, and Jasper happily agreed on that.

(Tom’s Point Of View)

I watched as Nicole was dragged to the pack cells before I checked on Kale, thankfully he was ok. Jake and I decided to both stay with him until Garry came to take him for a visit to see his family in their pack. We didn’t want to leave him alone, even though he was ok he was still a bit shaken up from Nicole. After 3 hours Garry took Kale and Jake and I went to our bedroom. We ended up in the shower making sweet and passionate love, with his back against the shower wall and his limbs wrapped around me.

After our shower we continued in our bedroom, though this time he was riding me while I was on my back on the bed. We made love until our bodies couldn’t take it anymore, before we passed out, cuddled up in each other’s arms.

(Nicole’s Point Of View)

I could not believe that Tom made me submit to him! And that they already completed the mate bond! I could not have this, I needed to see that witch I had learnt about and fast. But how can I do that when I’m f***ing trapped in this cell?! Jake was MINE, and only MINE! And I will have him, even if I have to kill Tom to have him! I want to tear Tom apart, piece by piece as I watch him bleed out screaming and begging for mercy.

All these thoughts gave me enough strength and energy, I grabbed the cell bars and tore them open enough for me to get through. I then ran out to back entrance of the cell block and whenever I saw a Warrior Guard, I snuck up to them and ripped their heads off before their hearts and setting both next to their dead bodies. By time I had finally gotten out and ran off the pack territory, I was covered in blood. I licked my fingers and hands clean of the blood, I honestly don’t care if Tom will be after me now. I will torture him slowly and then him kill once I’m satisfied with causing him enough torture.

I ran to find this witch while thinking of all of the ways I could torture Tom, ways of ending him once and for all. Mark my words Tom; you will be soon dead, and Jake will finally be mine once again!
