Lilith was pressed against the rough tree trunk. Not far away from her was the chattering crowd illuminated by torches and flashlights. The one she despised and the one she was worried about were both behind her at this very moment.
In front of her stretched the dark and ominous forest shrouded in moonlit night, with the orc closing in!
"How dare you sneak away from your master! Well, let me think, how should I punish you?" Cywen's eyes bore into Lilith, his gaze darkening.
Lilith shivered. Without hesitation, she flung her arms around Cywen, trying to cajole, "I just wanted to come out for a stroll. Maybe I can find something tasty for you."
Lilith's stomach rumbled coincidentally. She hadn't eaten anything since lunch!
