"Lall!" Lilith shouted. 'Good heavens, he wasn't this impulsive before,' she roared inwardly.
A gunshot rang out in the dining room.
"No!" Lilith anxiously leaned forward. Thank goodness, Alia dodged it. She had summoned her companion beast and was now sitting on the head of a giant golden python, glaring at Lall.
Lall blew on the gun's muzzle and sneered. "Snakie, I bet there are still bullets in it, right?"
"Enough!" Lilith roared. "Lall, put down the gun."
"Lilith?" Lall's body stiffened. Damn it. He turned around in horror, only to see Lilith looking at him. There was no doubt she had witnessed everything.
