The unknown supernatural world was as deep and mysterious as the ocean. She had only just opened the door and seen a roomful of water, yet she already felt like she was drowning in the sea of information.
"You'll understand in time," Cywen said, turning to walk down the long corridor and then down the stairs. Lilith snapped back to reality and hurried to catch up, her footsteps echoing in the vast space, lonely and clear.
She looked back at the beehive-like maze of rooms, unable to imagine how Cywen had lived alone here for centuries.
